I've changed the ini file but I don't have Bethesda logo, neither the repalcer. What could be wrong?

I was never able to figure out why it wouldn't work for some people but does for others. Like it works for me but a few have had issues before and I don't know if they ever got it working. The only recommendation I could give you is to change the name of the replacer video to what the original is called (I think it's bsx but you'll have to double check) and see if that works!

I got it, sIntroSequence= already exists. Don't copy and paste the ini edit in its entirety; find the sIntroSequence= under General and add the Bethesda_Intro_Logo_Replaced-1080p.bik to it so it THEN looks like sIntroSequence=Bethesda_Intro_Logo_Replaced-1080p.bik

I downloaded the 4k replacer since I have a 1440p monitor, but the intro video seems to still play in pretty low quality. Do I need to change the skyrim.ini file to the 4k version? I used vortex and let vortex load the 4k add on after the main file. Intro video still looks low quality.

edit: i found the file in the data folders and played it using vlc player and yeah it shows up as 4k but just seems like it isn't really 4k. A lot of banding in the dark parts. Otherwise love the new menu!

I'll be honest, I have no idea if it is or isn't in 4k. Someone else made it and sent it to me, so I thought I'd put it up in case anyone else wanted to use it. I played the two side by side and couldn't see a difference (then again I only have 1080p monitors and I have awful eyesight lol).

Will this work with Mod Organizer 2?

Yeah, just make sure you change the profile ini with the necessary line if you want to use the intro video

Can you clarify what you mean by these? Do you mean the red skyrim logo that replaces the normal main menu?

I think he meant to be able to get the Main Menu IMAGE without the menu itself to use it on his Non-Skyrim Desktop (WallPaper for Windows)
      I'd like too :D

I don't understand if there is something wrong with my game or if the issue is the mod, but when I start Skyrim, it doesn't replace the Bethesda intro, only the main menu.

Well this is way better than stock haha. I like how the music makes a smooth transition from video to menu. Great job.

You downloaded the Bethesda Removal version. Can you try using the main file one? And can you show me your where and what you put into your ini file?

Thanks for such a fast response.
ini added (minus quotes) exactly as instructed here: under General in skyrim.ini. Also tried the main file and it's the same result... still BGS logo.
(FYI i also tried the original R3nierjvr replacer mod with the same result) neither mod kill that darn logo... wondering if Beth have patched it recently. Todd Howard's evil power is my guess!

Was there an update to SSE recently, like since New Year's? I don't currently have anywhere near an up-to-date version of it (The last time I updated was August lol). If there was then there's a chance that something could have happened. If it did I can try testing it myself and seeing if I get the same result.

No idea buddy... they seem to screw something up with every new Creation Club update... infuriating!
Your help is much appreciated. Modders like you make it all worthwhile!

Try using the clean menu mod. Just make sure that doesnt ovewrite the intro bik and the main menu background.

I had the same problem. To fix it I copied your Bethesda_Intro_Logo_Replaced-1080p.bik, and pasted it in the Skyrim Special Edition/Data/Video folder. I changed the name of the original Bethesda file and renamed your file to BGS_Logo.bik. I'm sure there is a better way but I don't know it. This way I get the new video, and if I want to go back I can delete it and revert the original to it's original name.

I know there's the way of changing the videos name to directly replace the actual intro video, but I'm not technically allowed to modify the files, just include them into my mash-up.

This may be pretty late but did you have the intro video turned off in your .ini beforehand? I was following the Tuco guide and was instructed to do this causing the video to not play.

That is one slick intro video! I currently use the one from the 'PC Master Race' mod @ https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/1273/ It's good to see intro videos getting used as otherwise you end up sitting on a start up loading screen if you have the amount of mods I do...

As for the main menu itself, I like it, but I'd probably replace the music with what I already use currently. The theme mashups are pretty awesome I think, but a bit too messy for me to tolerate hearing it all the time.
