Hi thanks for your hard work and i hope you can pardon my ignorance
Taken from -Skyrim SE Expanded Skyrim Weaponry-:
"There are two versions of this mod. One sets the weapons as craftable only, preventing random NPCs running around with them and the other allows NPCs and merchants to wield and sell them in addition to crafting them at the forge with subsequent staff enchanting at the staff enchanter. "

After that, I quite not understand what it is this mod for, not pushing, just i would like to know if i am missing something and i can get some use of the mod

    Thanks again

What are the uses of bashed patches? Been out of the land of skyrim for a long time, but have now setup a huge mod list and got them all working correctly, no conflicts, everything running smooth. Now i want to add armours and weaponry. Brilliant game, it really is next gen with all these mod options.

A bashed patch merges data (usually things like leveled lists) in order to reduce the number of mods in your game. Since the number of mods you can play with is capped, people with many mods generally need to "bash" in order to make everything play nicely without exceeding the limit of allowed mods. (If every mod has a patch to work with other mods, you can see how using many mods can lead to having many, many patches. And since a patch is its own .esp, it counts in your mod limit.)

I made this for people who only use a few mods and/or just don't otherwise want or need to bash patches.

yes, we know a lot of you can bash patch, but I really appreciate the author making this for people that don't know how to bash and made it simple and easy. Thank you

Mator smash works fine for this.. I did have to manually change bash tags for IW to Lev/relev for some reason smash.all was skipping over it.. but really anyone modding this game needs to be using mator smash or at very least wyre bash(unless only doing graphics).. both are very simple to learn with plenty YouTube videos covering the basics

Yup -- I know. I just saw several questions about these two sets in the comments for SSEESW and thought I'd throw this out there for people who wanted an easy solution. If you're getting near your mod count limit, or you're serious about using multiple mods, smashing/bashing is the way to go. But this took like 4 minutes to make and I thought someone might find it useful.

But (and this is a genuine question) couldn't you just use a bashed patch?

I thought that's what Wrye Bash is for? Unless I don't know what I'm talking about, which is possible.

I use mator smash and both (from screen shot) show up in my game.

I'm sure you could use a bashed patch, but this mod is great for those of us who don't know how to do that and are too lazy to learn!

A merged patch through xEdit should also do the trick.
