As of version 2.0 the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch is no longer a requirement. The new FOMOD installer will allow you to choose between the standard version and a USSEP version. Now Even Better Quest Objectives (EBQO) is officially supported so you can select that version in the installer as well. Additionally I've uploaded this version to Bethesda.net for all platforms.
Update: I've quickly updated this to version 2.1 which adds official support for Cutting Room Floor. Just select the right patch when installing.
Update 2: I've quickly updated again to version 2.2 which adds official support for Quest Conflict Fixes. Just select the right patch when installing.
Update 3: I've removed the Quest Conflict Fixes patch at the request of the mod author SkyLover264. It contained no assets from the original mod but I'm not going to fight him on this. Sorry folks.
How for users here : using SSEdit, find the record shown above (my screenshot) and drag and drop the two red records from USSEP into the Radiant Quest mod column.
Important : this is the ONLY conflict / bug I found in this mod. Cheers
This is because the patch was built on an older version of USSEP. Will update next time I work on mods. Unsure if this results in any bugs in game though? Good find.
Hmm wasn't aware of that mod. Don't use them together. Seems they do very similar things. That one just moves them to the miscellaneous while mine does that AND marks them so you can tell them apart from miscellaneous one off objectives that actually lead you to bigger quests. Also the quests affected by our mods are slightly different.
While a patch isn't really required, it'd be nice to have those quests marked. I actually just started using Cutting Room Floor and the author made it clear which quests are repeatable so expect a patch for it soon.
Update: I've added a CRF patch to the FOMOD installer. Enjoy!
Generally love this - but I have a problem with the radiant quests that are part of quest line progression - eg the Companions - you get a radiant quest or two between each dedicated Companions quest - and this mod flags them and moves them in to miscellaneous - and the quest description does not tell you which of these radiants was given eg by Aela, and which was from Hulda at the inn or from the Notice Board - so to find the Companions one you need to do them all and then see which one updates to "speak to Aela" Wonder if there is a mod that adds "Given by" to descriptions.
That's a really good idea although not all radiant quests are given by the same person each time so it would require some work to do it right. I'll add it to my list of things to look into.
Should be, although I haven't tried it and any radiant quests added by AE won't be marked. I'll update this if I decide to do an AE playthrough at some point.
Load order doesn't matter too terribly much with this mod but near the end is in theory safer. I don't know if it's compatible with Completionist but if you try it let me know.
I really love this mod - great work - but I cannot get it to work with Dear Diary (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23010). Could you make a patch? Or should I approach the author of Dear Diary?
This is totally bizarre, but all of a sudden this stopped working for me. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and moved it to the bottom of my load order and back, and it's not impacting my quest journal at all. I assume there is something in my specific build, but no idea what. Anyone else hit this, or have any ideas what kind of mod/script/whatever might be interfering with it?
Are you absolutely positive you have radiant quests in your journal right now? For a list of quests this affects see the linked excel spreadsheet on the description tab of the mod page. There are some quests that one could assume would be marked but for one reason or another I determined they shouldn't be.
Easy to overlook this but make sure Miscellaneous is marked active as well as the radiant quests in the Journal. I forgot about this and didn't realize it. Kept scratching my head why isn't the radiant quests being marked on the map even though I have this mod installed.
I made a patch for Thieves' Night On The Town (which lets you do all the radiant thieves guild quests simultaneously by making copies of the vanilla TG quests which Radiant Quest Marker SE therefore can't see).
Instant CTD after installing compatibilty patch for EBQO (tried both ESL and ESP), don't have CRF or QCF. The USSEP patch works, but mod is not working. Don't have any radiant marked quest.
@SilentNightxxx I have another request if you don't mind : Is it possible that you can make an add-on patch for Missives mod ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17576 ) ? This mod provides radiant a-like quest so it could be great if you can name all their quest's name as Radiant quest as you did with vanilla quests !
@SilentNightxxx Thanks for this useful mod, I have a request though: Can you please make a compatibility patch for QuestAreInSkyrim ?(https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18416?tab=descriptionmod) TIA !

Does that mean this mod overrides the Protected value (maybe an oversight) or is it applied anyhow because the Unofficial SSE Patch is a master?
Here is an image, with an actual exemple, to clarify :
I feel USSEP added those changes for a reason... I guess I will patch (merge) this mod by hand.
QF_WIKill04_00071441 did not properly handle the relationship value when the player read the letter in the quest alias. (UESP)

Your mod does not require for instance patch for:
- Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul Patch;
- Cutting Room Floor Patch
Thanks!

"Legacy of the Dragonborn:
-The Phantom Cache
-Finders Keepers"
Wonder if there is a mod that adds "Given by" to descriptions.
Is it compatible with AE?
Also, is this compatible with Completionist - Quest Tracker?
Thank you
