Grass mods Hearthfire multiple adoptions - Now with custom home support for kids and spouse River Rock SSE - already included Wind Path SSE- already included
I love this little town. I have a couple or a few other mods that add other towns, I find they just add that little bit more life into the game. The house is really nice as well, but when I use the bless home spell, it tells me that its unsuitable for my family. As the character I wanted to use this house as, I haven't adopted any children yet, and I don't have a spouse. Could that be why I'm having this issue? I've used plenty of other house mods, and I've always been able to use bless home and it works. Any feedback or help is appreciated.
If you're having an issue with the house, try this mod Wind Path Home - Revamped at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community it fixed the house for me. There is some things you'll have to delete with console commands, like a second armor workbench overlapping the existing one, and it actually puts a second copy of the house perfectly inside the other, which didn't negatively affect the use of the house. It was kind of strange seeing a still closed door every time I opened the door, so to fix that, I just opened the door, and before loading into the house, opened the console, clicked on the closed door and disabled it. Hope this helps. Just be sure to disable the correct version of the house, which is the one that doesn't have the fixes. You'll be able to tell by casting bless home inside. If it doesn't work, go back outside, re-enable the one you disabled and keep trying until you get the right one.
That along with (the version of River Rock without Wind Path in it) because it was updated by the same Author later in Sept than this version of the village which was in May in the same year... When loaded both along side each other in SSEedit I found them to be the same in the village cells:
I know a late post but even if it didn't have an RS patch you can always prevent black face with: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/42441
I have the original Wind Path installed always in my Skyrim se , this would be great if the house was not part of it and more of a addon for Wind Path , The original Player home WP is in fact one of those Player homes that at least for me never gave me any issues of what so ever , and installing this that I like the idea will overwrite the original one I have .
The Idea is very good but you could have made separated options for it one with Wind Path and one as a Add on for the Original Wind Path Mod here , https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/15192.
Please consider this , as you know this kind of things in Skyrim LE and SE are so unpredictable that is in fact what makes me doubt to install in first place . Don't take me wrong I like it but I will not remove My original WP for another identical but with addon to it ...
I had the floating land issue with Nimalten from TES Arena, but loading TES Arena after River Rock in Vortex solved the issue. They work together perfectly now.
I had that too, when I use it with "Legendary Cities - Tes Arena ESO Towns AiO 318 SSE 6.01".
Reverse the load order; in MO i put "River Rock Village 19432 SSE 1.1" at lower priority (example 1184,) and "Legendary Cities - Tes Arena ESO Towns AiO 318 SSE 6.01" at a higher priority (example 1186.) Do the same with the Plugin priorities; then it nolonger floats. Hope that helps.

This looked very confusing as to which versions to choose, and which were newer.
So here's what I come up with
Decided on using (The Wind Path you suggested):

Then of course since I use RS Children I took the RS patch for this mod and adjust it for that version of the village.

That worked like a charm.
Now I'm likely going to Spid the children with new clothes from here.

Love this place. I tend to just call it North Ivarstead, though, haha
