I originally made these changes for when I played solely on console, but since I switched to PC myself, I knew I had to provide it here. I removed it when I left modding, but now that I'm back, I wanted to offer it again to anyone who might want it. Nothing has changed since I first published it, and I don't intend on deleting it, even if I leave modding again.
As one of my top five favorite starter homes, it was great as it was, but I wanted to put my own touches to it. I've made some minor changes, added a few things, and fixed the adoption issue of only allowing one child to move in. Now you can have 3 children! Yes, three beds, for three kids! [tested and working perfectly]
Also changed the map marker to be visible from the start. Fast travel your little heart out!
Exterior:
- Removed the two crates in the corner, next to the little round table on the porch
- Moved invisible chair in blacksmith area to round table, and made it visible (technically it's a whole new chair, but whatever)
- Removed the old urn/vase there (and the tundra cotton) and replaced them with a mead and a crosata
- Repositioned the sharpening wheel/grinding stone & the tanning rack, along with some minor adjustments to tool decor
- ADDED A POT SMELTER
Interior:
- Changed it so that both downstairs beds -red room & green room- are now kids rooms, as well as the upper bed, should you choose to keep it default for a 3rd child
....they may or may not clip through beds, I've seen both...little weirdos :) - Each kid has a personal, miniature noble drawers chest, that I tried to tuck out of the way [see image gallery for location]
- Added solid walls to the master bedroom and the "green" bedroom because I hated the lattice see-through. privacy much?(side affect, the double scroll in the master may float now. It's either that or back to a half wall. I chose the magic floating scrolls)
- Removed the sliding lattice door in the bath (because reasons)
- Removed an animal skull decoration in the upper room (because reasons)
I think that's about it. I didn't touch any of the kitchen stuff. You can still use the Luna Moth inside/outside, open the windows, turn bath water/animations on and off, change rugs, etc etc. ALL CREDIT goes to :

I spent way too long trying to make these changes. If you don't like them, by all means, use a different version. :)
I might add a few little things sometime in the future. Doubtful, but maybe.
OPTIONAL FILES (yes, espfe)
There was a Cure Disease Effect that didn't seem to be implemented, so I decided to add it in as an option. Two versions offering sound effects or no sound effects. (added to the Drink Potion in bath area that gives Fortify Shout buff)
While looking around, I also realized that the Fortify Shout buff only lasted 18 mins. Not much of a buff imo, so I increased the time to an hour. (in both optional files)
I have added an optional file to include a mailbox from Skald's Mail. I got tired of walking to Ivarstead to check the box at the inn. See pics in gallery for more info.
