    (I installed this mod on top of my Mad God's Overhal (VR) modlist with over 3000 active plugins.)

    This mod has incredible potential (especially for VR), but right now it has too many issues to be really playable. Maybe it could work on smaller modlists where it wouldn't conflict with anything, but on big ones, it is a hell to make it work. I managed to clean it enough to visit some custom locations without crashing and meet the followers, tried a few superhero armors, weapons, and spells (that didn't crash my game) and encountered some Hydra soldiers, enemies from Star Wars, even got blasted by Ultron once.

    Overall, I love the idea of it. There are many things that need to be fixed (some mentioned below), and if someone, or the author himself, returned and updated it to work in 2024, it could be a 10/10 fun mod for many (especially VR users).

    Some things that need to be fixed:

    The Secret Wars mod:

    • It contains few broken .nif files, running them through NifScope seems to fix them.
    • It contains few .tga texture files that are not compatible with SSE and cause crashes, running the mod through CAO seems to fix them.
    • Even with all the dependencies installed, the mod contains many Spell records with "Error: Could not be resolved" errors that cause crashes. As I didn't know what records were supposed to be there, all I could do was remove them and their references.
    • The VR patch is for VR Body mod, not VRIK. VRIK is a modern standard for VR. I could equip few armors anyway, but most of them didn't work, and the spells they added caused crashes when opening the spell menu or trying to cast them.
    • hdtPhysicsExtension.dll error, fixed by deleting the file
    Dependencies:

    • Predators - The Lost Tribes: "<Warning: Plugin contains 1509 deleted NavMeshes which can not be undeleted>"
    • Infinity Gauntlet: There is a newer ported version than the one linked in requirements; so far, it seems to work, but I haven't gotten to the infinity stones part.
    Problems with unknown cause, probably conflicts with other mods:

    • Heavy attacks with weapons from this and other mods started to crash my game.
    • Opening containers or using Quickloot sometimes crashes my game.
    • During fights with 3+ enemies from this mod, my game randomly freezes (when they cast spells).

    Even after I tried to resolve all of the above issues, my game keeps crashing randomly, which was not happening before installing this mod. I really wanted to make it work, but I have a huge mod list and am not a modder, so I will have to remove it from my modlist. Maybe I will try to only keep the followers, as they look really good for being in Skyrim, and keep some weapons like Star Wars blasters, lightsabers, Hawkeye's bow and arrows with various effects, etc.

    I can see the author really put a lot of work into this mod. I gotta say it again that the models of Heroes and Villains are top notch, but the mod is old, it has issues, and I don't recommend installing it, at least not for a serious playthrough.

    I will try to provide a G-Drive link later with my file where I attempted to fix the issues I mentioned, but this was my first time using the above tools, and I don't know if I used them correctly. Don't consider this to be a fixed version, it's just a "won't crash straight away" version for those that want to jump in and see the mod for themselves.

      im doing the same with FUZ how ever only the iron men are in the castle and theres no weapons or anything in chests. is this normal? i dont know how to get started!

      When I entered the castle, I explored every room and eventually found one room with all the heroes. Then if you go into I think Living quarters, look around and you should find a big chest in a room with water. Inside are some armors and weapons. Just use the teleportation orbs until you find them.

      You can find other stuff and heroes inside the Batcave (near Riverwood) and Fortress of Solitude (near Winterhold). All locations have map markers and you can fast travel to them straight away. You can find enemies all around Skyrim.

      I didn't play it long enough to find any other content from this mod.

    Would have been nice to see this on Xbox One Bethesda. Especially since we get like nothing on there thats actually fun without being taken down instantly.

    OK so I believe the crash in Whiterun is not caused by this mod. That was to be certain. I think this conflicts with Cross and Jab Animation though maybe that's what caused the unarmed animation to look weird like you're punching with casting hands. I'll have to sort out this problem in Dragonsreach though, maybe that's caused by Alternate Start.

    OK so one big problem I noticed with this and it really conflicted with what I wanted. I wanted to make a super strength type character but my punching unarmed animation became some kind of open hand clawing/slapping animation  plus I was jumping really high and doing flips which I didn't have a problem with and was kind of cool I could jump on top of roofs that way. I was wondering out of my 200+ mods was causing this turns out it was this mod. I'm using the 1.6+ AE I think version. Not sure if it's also causing the crash at Dragonsreach/Whiterun region though. I disabled this mod and now I'm punching normally. If you can fix the unarmed punching animation that would be great. Not the slapping/clawing animation. For the most part I thought it was caused by my werewolf mods. I thought I was trying to sideline a Skyrim LE version but this is in the SE version which should work with AE but it isn't?

    This mod has a lot of conflicts with AE, seeing as it was made before, and won't run great (beware).

    This mod is great, adds a lot of cool content but it also takes over a LOT and will ask to override several other mods. The mod author says to allow it to but if you do I think it becomes quite disruptive. For example I entered solitude and got jumped by an overleveled npc that could one shot me and almost soft locked me out of my save (kept killing me before I could make it back out). If anyone could create a configurable version of this that allows you to choose what to add or not add that would be extremely helpful!

    Bro every time I press psb with the mod enabled, or equip armor with the spells, pressing the magic menu makes my god automatically crash. Does anyone have a fix for this, I've been suffering from this for months, it has taken away a lot of the fun from my favorite Skyrim mod.
