I have also had the drumbeat music also playing endlessly... It doesn't seem to matter what save I use either... It just keeps going and going.. I finally, after much frustration and wanting to just replay my game to get rid of the monster... I finally figured out which file it is.. The culprit is lagoa v2.xwm in the BSA.. This is the combat music so if that is the only one stuck please feel free to use the remove music command for combat music and it will stop just that set.

I looked inside the plugin under the heading of Music Type, and there were all the names TG.. I made a quick txt file Called MoonpathMusicEnd and plopped it into the main Skyrim Directory then used the console and typed Bat MoonpathMusicEnd. Worked flawlessly, but apparently I had 3 different tracks stuck so I had to apply the batch file thrice to get it to finally TG.. Go Away.. Here are the commands..

;Moonpath To Elsweyr Music Sky And Lighting Fix Music
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathCombat
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathSkies
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathEnding
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathDesert
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathExplore
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathHideout
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathTopalBase
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathTopal
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathAirship
    RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathDungeon

Happy Gaming Everybody.. Be sure to make a fresh save after you cancel the music..

    Namaste...

    Au.

same thing here but in worse, even with the bat it still doesn't stop !
in fact it started when I first entered moonpath with the cart at the entrance of falkreath so I thought this was the only music in the mod, and it took me quite a while to realise there must be a problem somewhere... !
Sigh there is probably a script starting this in loop somewhere, I might have to restart then... ! what a mess... !

edit : I had to do a clean save without this mod to stop that, then re-enable it, it works, the music doesn't come back !

OR, you could just use the main file, v1.1, and forgo all these troubles entirely. That works too....

Yeah but the musics are quite nice and it's good to have them... the problem seems to be at the start of the quest anyway, once it's started and you reached the destination, everything seems fine.

Thanks for this patch! Could you maybe convert it to an ESL in the next version?

SSEEdit: Can be turned into ESL by compacting FormIDs first, then adding ESL flag in TES4 header

Did you notice any problems ESLifying it?

edit: Actually I thought it was deemed unsafe to ESLify plugins with attached scripts...?

Yeah your right, it can't be ESLifyed since one of the scripts refer to get a FormId, because of that it won't know which FormId to get since it would most likely be edited. This could get patched manually though, I just don't know how.

Is this compatible with Vivid Weathers and other Weather mods?

I was using the merged patch and also had the stuck battle music problem and no success with the console command to get it to stop. I uninstalled the merged patch and installed only the sky and lighting and the music is thankfully gone. I like heavy drums and I'm all for jungle themed music, but that is waaay too high energy for me and it's super loud. I had to turn the music way down to hear anything else in the game. IMO, it's better without the music, at least until that glitch is worked out.

I removed the patch, the jungle music stopped but the music from Elsweyr insists and now the original musing can be heard on the background... I wanna cry..

LOOT is insisting on placing "Moonpath Sky and Lightning Fix.esp" after "JRMoonpathBrumaPatch.esp" even after I went in and edited the LOOT metadata for your .esp to "load after" the Bruma patch. Apart from manually reordering them every time I run LOOT do you have any suggestions on how I could get this to work properly? Is it something you (addressing Filloax here) would need to report to the LOOT team as mod author?

This makes a massive difference and helps Moonpath feel more like a part of the world. Unfortunately, it has the problem where the Khajiit won't talk to you to start the quest unless you move a pair of loose scripts and seq folder to this mod's directory, after which it works just fine. I also forget exactly where I found said scripts and seq originally, as they were in my Bruma Synergy patch folder, and I don't recall it coming with them.

Hi, I just finished Moonpath, and I too am having endlessly looping music. It's a drum beat that plays nonstop no matter where I go in Skyrim. I don't think it's the combat music, but I still tried the console command "RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathCombat" just to be sure, with no effect.

Is there any way to stop this? It was nice and really added to the atmosphere of Elsweyr, but not so much in Skyrim. Can I try to temporarily hide the BSA in Mod Organizer and load without it, or will my game implode?

I haven't played Moonpath before. But I saw some images and there were also night pictures.
Also, the sea's edge seam that you mention is already present in Moonpath or it shows up with your mod?

It's present in Moonpath, just hidden by the incredible amount of fog.

I had tried Moonpath to Elsewyr a long time ago in OldRim and I can say that you new music and lighting really made the experience substantially enhanced: Endorsed!

So, I have been playing with this for a few hours, and I have only had one problem. I am using the merged file. I have only been hearing a single music track sometime after I got to the waterways. I think it is the track called Lagoa. Its the only music that has played for the last hour, and it hasn't stopped.

That is the combat music script getting stuck. It has happened to me too in my first full playtest playthrough, and I don't know exactly why as it o ly happens sometimes. The hard fix will be adding more failsafes, but for now using the console command "RemoveMusic MUSMoonpathCombat" should work

That fixed it. Turning off combat music when a load screen is triggered or after a hard max duration (2 - 3 minutes) could keep the problem from being irritating if it does occur again.

I'll probably go with removing it every 6-7 seconds if out of combat (on top of the already existing remove 5 seconds after combat end) just in case
