It seems that when using the mask on a female khajit, only the hood gets applied. The mask is missing. This does not occur on a male khajit. Any ideas?

I've got a weird bug with the mcm menu. It's not called sneak tools menu but $STPT_MCM99, and inside it's $STPT_MCM00 and $STPT_MCM001 Each line in the menu is called $STPT_MCM xx and no text at all. Any idea for fixing that ?
For those who have the same issue. It's a matter of localisation. It happens when your game is not in english. You have to go in : Data\Interface\Translations , rename Sneak Tools_ENGLISH.txt to Sneak Tools_(German/French etc..).txt
Can someone create a proper patch? Embers HD is an essential mod for me and so many others. At this point Sneak Tools is sadly unusable.
Edit: I'm using Embers HD without custom fire effect like most members here. Instead, I've Inferno installed. Could someone create a patch for this? So many people are playing with Inferno or Ultimate HD Fire Effects. Currently, I've only the minimal version of Sneak Tools installed. But this mod deserves more.
Do you use Ember HD + custom fire effect or Ember HD without custom fire effect and with a fire replacer? When I tried Sneak Tools I had that too. I use Ember HD without custom fire effect and Ultimate HD Fire Effects as a fire replacer.
As it turns out the patch is only for users of Ember HD + custom fire effect.
First up, thanks for the mod haytur. Really wanted the blackjack and the ability to knock out, rather than kill NPCs sometimes. Works great and I appreciate the effort that went into the mod. Regarding the Embers HD patch. I was perplexed at first too as the patch didn't seem to work. With DarthAncalagon's instructions however (thank you), I was able to fix the problem. Have to give up Ultimate Fire, but worth the trade off in my opinion.
If you can only craft the blackjack and nothing else, the mod is NOT bugged. In order to craft the arrows or mask, you need to find their crafting books which can be found in thief related quests. After that, you need to meet certain skill requirements (this option can be disabled in MCM). Just putting this here because many people seem to be confused why they can’t craft the items.
Does someone know where the water arrow book is? I read someone that it's supposed to be in the nightingale hall, but even after doing all quests connected to the place, I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be much appreciated :)
Almost a year after the question, but... There are 3 books at the sanctuary, just where nocturnal appears, there is 1 book at the side of each "bridge".
Im also looking for v2 and 3, I missed them somehow
2 and 3 are found early in the questline, Vex can point you to them...

Books 2 and 3 are in a small side room, off the sewer tunnel under Goldenglow Estate. Vex tells you about the entrance when you talk to her about the Goldenglow job, which will cause a map marker to show up for it. There's a chest in the room, but the books are on the floor, near a bedroll and a few old bones.
Hi. I'm using the minimal version of this mod with Skyrim SSE 1.5.97 and the proper mods, like SkyUI. The MCM menu of this mod shows what appears to be a second tab right below the Options tab, which is invisible. Also, I cannot make use of the sleeping kill ability, with any kind of weapon. May it be that version in particular is outdated?
FYI if you are downloading this mid game/save and it's not showing in MCM/not working; load a previous save on that character, like 10-20 levels back. Wait a second and see if it registers. Hopefully it will. Then load your current save and wait a minute and it will hopefully register. This worked for me for some reason and looking through comments it has worked for others.
Some light sources don't turn off correctly when hit by water arrow, notably some of the fire braziers in Lost Knife Hideout. The brazier model switches correctly (ie the fire model disappears), but the surrounding is still lit. I'm hoping that gets fixed soon.
Love the mod, even used it when I played LE. A bit disappointed now that you can't turn basic iron arrows to water arrows anymore, but AddItemMenu fixes it :)

You get weird flame issues. When I disable the patch flames are normal, but Braziers have vanilla embers.

yes, after I installed Ember HD + custom fire effect and disabled Ultimate HD Fire Effects the patch worked without problems
