    1. V3.5a (2021.10.6)

    Why Is It called alpha?

    This version of Immersive World Encounters like its predecessor V3.4 and all of its upcoming versions with a new number will be initially offered as an Alpha release.


    What it means for YOU is that this version is safe to use in your current playthrough. Although the alpha tag might scare off some people this is by no means to say that it's an unstable or experimental release. This is just like any new version release I've done in the past but with an extra step to see if any subsequent minor update is necessary. Even though it's alpha I'd recommend to use this version over an old version that you already have, because it has some very important bug fixes. If you use this version and notice some issues, please report it to me so I can fix them in the upcoming non-alpha release.


    2. Troubleshooting Guide for all versions:

    If you're about to update this mod from your previously-installed version...
    Mid -game update is always perfectly safe with this mod and you are strongly encouraged to keep it updated at all times!

    MCM has no option/doesn't show up/other MCM related problems
    Run the installer again, and select the optional BAT file. Please read the instruction in the installer for how to use this bat file. Just installing this file does nothing!!!

    Before asking a question...
    I've put a lot of effort into compiling all the necessary information about this mod. Check them out before asking questions!
    1) The Troubleshooting guide accessed from MCM that you can read while in-game.
    2) Check the Article section where you'll find 3 detailed guides.
    3) The description page is part of the mod! The amount of serious labor that goes into just creating the description page is criminally underappreciated aspect of being a mod author. Please read the important sections.
    4) This sticky post may have an answer to your question.

    With Ultimate Combat installed, Brawlers at taverns are frozen!
    This is not caused by direct incompatibility with Ultimate Combat. Ultimate Combat is a great mod but not without a minor issue with the UseWeapon AI Procedure. Similar glitches can be seen with vanilla NPCs training to the dummies.
    From V3.6a, Ultimate Combat users has an option to toggle an additional MCM option to enable an alternate behavior for the brawlers. Even if you use that mod, you no longer need to disable this event altogether.

    Compatible with Immersive Patrols? Citizens? Jk's SKyrim? Holds? this mod? that mod?

    Sad this mod is dead.
    Is that this mod that add uninterestings robots npcs: healers, alchemists, mages, laborers ... on the roads and towns ?
    Can't find the one that add them.

    I have a question is this mod has 2 children in whiterun named kiddo? I'm just trying to find out if it was this or populated skyrim that had children black face and glowing

    I just started a new game with this mod, and I've had a couple of awkward world encounters that interrupted vanilla scenes.  After escaping Helgen and leaving the cave with Hadvar, his speech got interrupted by the thief who wants you to hold his loot.  When going to tell the jarl of Whiterun about the dragon, the jarl's dialogue with Proventus got interrupted by an adventurer trying to collect a reward for a quest.

    Could these issues be related to this mod?  I've played through these scenes a few times, and I've never seen them interrupted this way.

      I personally don't know if this mod changes the chances for vanilla encounters.., but the encounter of a thief giving you something and an adventurer wanting it back, is a vanilla encounter.
      Never had that happen so early either, but it should be a normal&random vanilla encounter

    For some reason the mercenary party encounters wont despawn and just linger where they're spawned. It tends to cause places to get crowded if more mercenary npcs spawn there.

      I gave up on this mod because of that. The mercenaries and soldiers hunting dragons never disappear, and eventually cause CTD that destroys the save. A new game is needed.

      Since the author never solved this problem, I'm thinking of removing mercenaries and soldiers from encounters on their own in creation KIT
      Another encounter that intrigues me CDT is the farmer and giant on the farm.

      You can pick and choose what enounters you want in the MCM.

      I remove the encounters via NCM and they continue to appear.

    I'm having this weird but kind of funny issue with the quest Outbreak. I was in Whiterun, and a farmer asked me to dispatch a mammoth and a giant at Battle-Born Farm. I did that, and the quest marker tells me to collect my reward from the farmer, but whenever I speak to him, he just says generic dialogue. He also keeps following me, as if trying to start that dialogue with me, but it never comes. Wherever I go in Skyrim, he's bound to show up at some point after I've gotten to where I'm going because he's still trying to initiate that dialogue, so I find him in really odd places. Any idea how to fix this?

    I'm encountering a bug with raids. The Guard Commander will approach, go through his dialogue, I get the quest, and then he just stands there. No raid happens. The quest just softlocks.

      The first time I got this quest (In Whiterun) he seemed to just stand there and then I went outside and ran around looking and eventually he showed and everything went forward as normal.

      Unfortunately I had to back track quite a bit to an earlier save.

      The next time the quest came up I had this happen where the commander seems stuck inside with no one gathering around him. I'm going to look for quest stages for this to see if I can manually advance it.

      I'm running into the same issue with the guard not allowing me to finish the quest after defeating the bandits. Any luck finding the questIDs for this, or is it best to avoid triggering these quests for now?

      I just had an issue with this quest where the commander died in the battle making the quest impossible to complete.

    This mod was working fine before but now seems to crash my game, got a CTD log constantly listing, "Wanderer - Forest Encounter." Has anyone experienced this before?
