Did I read that right? A merchant has 30,000 gold?! I have gaming OCD too... they must be pretty strong to carry that amount around unless they got a horse and carriage to cart it and a bodyguard or 10 to protect it - they can afford it...

Should be all the references back to Bjorn, whom I removed from the mod entirely. The mod works fine in game and I've played with this mod as is for well over 100 hours without any issues with it. I should probably go clean that up, but I honestly don't think I'll have any time to any time soon as my plate is over loaded with other OMEGA specific projects atm.

I wonder if that is related to the bug I was experiencing:
Pretty much ever NPC I talked to offered training in Alchemy (including any who should be offering other training) but if I chose the option they offered one-handed instead.
Removing just this mod from my game completely resolved the issue.
Though it might be because I had it in a merged patch with some other NPC/follower mods.

Is there a way to use this for the merchant, but disable the training feature?

I was gonna delve into xEdit to see if it was a simple change but I stopped as soon as I noticed the scripts folder, since I don't know much about scripting and I'm concerned that blithely making changes in xEdit may cause problems with the scripts.

I'm not sure honestly as it's not something I've ever looked into. Couldn't you just ignore them as trainers?

Take a look at this: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Adding_a_Trainer_NPC_to_Skyrim

I imagine, not on my gaming pc to check right now, that you could find the Trainer settings in xEdit. Change their class to Journeyman and then they're shitty trainers instead of Master trainers. Would that work for you?

I could ignore them, but I'm about to play my first ever Skyrim playthrough and I've got a mod list of 500+. In other words I'm going for as much of a "set it and forget it" mod list as I can, working these things out ahead of time so I don't need to think about it in game. I'm already gonna have to be careful about loot from certain dungeon/quest mods messing with OMEGA MLU balance, though I've minimized this as much as I can.

I like the convenience of not having to travel around selling my items, but since I'm largely unfamiliar with vanilla Skyrim, I want to have to find the vanilla trainers organically. I skimmed your link and there are definitely scripts tied to the training, so in my situation I should probably play it safe and leave this one off the list for now.

Thanks for the quick response and all your great work on the OMEGA system.

I played with this mod for months with Bjorn still in the game and I literally just ignored that he was there bc I didn't want him injecting loot in my game. When I realized I could just edit him and saw permissions set so I could upload this for other users I jumped on it. It just takes a mind set to ignore that option and after a while it's easy honestly.

500 mods?!?! Wow... I get ancy when I get close to 200.
