3. Merge your patches! This is obviously an essential part of creating a sustainable and stable load order. Make sure your patches are loaded in the order mentioned above, and then run the Merge Plugins script.
a really extraordinary mod, really well done! For compatibility with EEKs mod and others, is there a chance that you provide us with an fomod installer which gives the possibility to select the interiors so that it does not clash with other mods ? I'd really like to download this mod, but its difficult do decide between mods with so many good interior mods around
Thank you for your kind words. I understand your request for the modular version, I really do, as I've received so many requests for it.
However I'd like to apologize that it won't probably happen. If I were to make 7 modular esps for this mod, I would also have to create 7 new variations for 15 patch files, new installers, new description, new BSAs and more. What people need to understand is that modding is a very time-consuming work. And unlike many other mega mod projects out there which usually have their own developer teams, I'm working on Palaces and Castles Enhanced by myself as I prefer not to have many people working with me on this personal project. I really don't like sitting for another 40+ hours making the modular version only to make several people happy and a handful of others confused by the new option
I'm having an issue where Elisif has giving me the quest to meet her in her room at night, but still reacts as though I'm trespassing. I'm not using any mods listed as incompatible, nor do any of my mods effect the Palace interior other than this one. I really like the mod, so if this can't be fixed, I'm fine just using console commands to finish this stage, or just skipping the quest altogether, but I'm curious if there's an easy fix.
I get this comment many times, you need to finish The Man Who Cried the Wolf beforehand just like in vanilla. The description page has a mention of this, too. ;)
I absolutely adore this mod, it's absolutely amazing and makes each and every place it touches look stunning! I'm having an issue I'm not exactly sure how to fix so if anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.
After about 10-15 minutes in Riften whether I'm in Riften itself, one of it's buildings or the Ratway it ends up CTDing. I checked my crashlog and this is what it says:
From what I understand it has something to do with this mod and USSEP but I do actually have the patch installed. Any idea on what I can do to fix this?
Hey folks, sorry for the delayed reply. I'll quote my reply to ed1990on's post regarding this issue. As boobookitee has pointed out, the best "fix" as of now is deleting or disabling the horse (smaller one) in the courtyard of Mistaveil Keep.
I have a suspicion that this is another case of NPCs riding a horse somehow leading to the game crashing in modded Skyrim SE. A similar issue has been reported for my another mod called Immersive World Encounters as well as other mods madeby other authors. I'm trying to put together an update for this mod sometime in the future and I think I will get rid of the horses in Mistveil Keep courtyard altogether. In the meantime, you can use the console command "disable" (if that doesn't work, use "kill") on the smaller horse found near Mistveil Keep to fix the CTD.
I was actually going to suggest that that might be the issue since it seemed awfully similar to what I had read about the IWE horse issue but I ended up convincing myself that I must have done something wrong on my end. Thank you for getting back to us and for this beautiful mod!
@mattski123 Yes...just disable or delete that horse using xEdit, the same deal as using console commands. You might wanna delete the AI pack pointing to the horse as well. I don't have their forms handy right now sorry.
Any chance you could be a saint and provide the formid or record IDs to delete for these horses that cause CTDs? I need them to be gone from any new player character game I or my wife creates, so traveling there each time and trying to target and disable doesn't really cut it (and is really tricky in VR). Many others want to stop the CTDs for good too. I searched for name=horse but only found horsemeat records. I'm surprised the author hasn't patched this after all this time, but it's not looking good like he will.
Anyone manage to remove the horses that cause the game to crash in Riften at all? Finally coming back to the game again and I'd really like to be able to use this mod.
the no custom music patch in the mod does the opposite of what it should because I am using my own custom music and it is some how overwriting mine despite locking load order and it isn't like I can rip the wav files out of the mod as they are built into it by creation kit as it seems. How do I get my own custom music to overwrite it permanently?
This amazing mod could use a patch for Sigils of Skyrim. The latter mod won’t replace the Windhelm banners around Ulfrics’s throne. It could also use a patch for Skyrim at War. The soldiers that spawn in the throne room lean against a wall that isn’t there.
