    Load Order Tips

    1. Having a problem in Blue Palace where the Jarl and everyone don't attend the court? Do you experience any other Navmesh issues?

    If you have these issues you're not using this mod correctly!
    Everything you need to know to fix these problems is written on top of the description page so you won't miss it --- if you don't read anything I write to you, how am I supposed to help you?


    2. Compatibility Patches should be loaded in the following order:

    [Master] Palaces Castles Enhanced.esp (Loaded after many mods)
    [ANY] USSEP/ USSEP+CRF Patch
    [ANY] Relationship Dialogue Overhaul Patch *1
    [ANY] Any other patches not mentioned otherwise can be loaded anywhere after Palaces and Castles Enhanced.
    [1] Skyrim Sewers Patch
    [2] Immersive Citizens Patch
    [3] Open Cities Patch *2
    [4] Enhanced Lights and FX Patch
    [4] Relighting Skyrim Patch
    [4] Realistic Lighting Overhaul Patch
    [5] ELFX Enhancer Patch
    [6] No Custom Music Patch


    *1 RDO patch is pretty much trivial but if for some reason you want to load RDO after Palaces and Castles Enhanced you will need it.
    *2 If your Open Cities Patch is not working, it means you need to lower its position in your load order.


    3. Merge your patches!
    This is obviously an essential part of creating a sustainable and stable load order. Make sure your patches are loaded in the order mentioned above, and then run the Merge Plugins script.

    a really extraordinary mod, really well done!
    For compatibility with EEKs mod and others, is there a chance that you provide us with an fomod installer which gives the possibility to select the interiors so that it does not clash with other mods ?
    I'd really like to download this mod, but its difficult do decide between mods with so many good interior mods around

      Thank you for your kind words. I understand your request for the modular version, I really do, as I've received so many requests for it.

      However I'd like to apologize that it won't probably happen.
      If I were to make 7 modular esps for this mod, I would also have to create 7 new variations for 15 patch files, new installers, new description, new BSAs and more. What people need to understand is that modding is a very time-consuming work. And unlike many other mega mod projects out there which usually have their own developer teams, I'm working on Palaces and Castles Enhanced by myself as I prefer not to have many people working with me on this personal project. I really don't like sitting for another 40+ hours making the modular version only to make several people happy and a handful of others confused by the new option

    I'm having an issue where Elisif has giving me the quest to meet her in her room at night, but still reacts as though I'm trespassing. I'm not using any mods listed as incompatible, nor do any of my mods effect the Palace interior other than this one. I really like the mod, so if this can't be fixed, I'm fine just using console commands to finish this stage, or just skipping the quest altogether, but I'm curious if there's an easy fix.

      I get this comment many times, you need to finish The Man Who Cried the Wolf beforehand just like in vanilla. The description page has a mention of this, too. ;)

    All other Palaces and Castles are enhanced beautifully without issue. But Castle Dour has major issues with floors and walls missing and huge gaps/seams in both; the battle mages room for example is affected like this. The room where General Tullius usually is has a partial wall at one end of the long table, added for some reason from RLO - Interiors, which was what I managed to track as the cause of these issues. When this was disabled completely all the above issues were solved. But I have the PCE-RLO patch, and both RLO - Interiors and the patch are well below PCE in load order. I have also picked up a number of patches from the PCE Patch Collection.
     
    I’m not using any JK mods that touch Castle Dour (or any other mods that make changes to Castle Dour for that matter), not using Extravagant Interiors or Skyrim Project Optimization. I can’t seem to find major conflicts or issues using SSEEdit. I've tried to find posts in multiple forums for anyone else having this issue and have come up with nothing. I am at my wits end with this, I have no idea why this is happening.

    I'm.. not sure what exactly is causing it, as I have this mod as low as possible with its patches underneath, (even have tried disabling the aforementioned patches to see if they were responsible) but the hidden tunnel in the mistveil jarl's quarters seems to cause a CTD whenever I enter, spitting a navmesh related error my way as a result, as I said I have it as low as it can go, so nothing should be interfering with it, I'm going to assume this has to do with the SSE issue related to the jarl's quarters, but I can load into the quarters fine, it's just the tunnel that without fail CTDs.

    Hello, I've been getting this popping up in my log;

    [01/28/2024 - 10:17:05AM] warning: Property Another on script AAAscriptRemoveRug attached to  (7308CEBC) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property

    Looks like it's related to the activators on rugs that can be moved. has anyone else had this problem and if so, did you find a fix for it? I guess since I'm starting a new game anyway it might be possible to remove the scripted function from the activator?

    The door going into the Palace of The Kings Underground in the West Wing is glitched. The top half is blocked off by a gate the size of the door. Door is still functional but it's immersion breaking. I have all the necessary patches.
