Hello everyone. I made a merged .esp for this. It is ready for download. This was made per a request from another user. I hope this helps as some people don't know how to make .esl files yet. Have fun and good luck.

Also zowrath was kind enough to send me an All in One merged file with a .bsa with all the files. Its under optional files if anyone wants to use that because its easier. Many thanks for the optional file zowrath.

Also, if anyone has patch suggestions for other Book mods that would like to be included with this mod, the same applies as to the merged info above. One mod that has been mentioned is Skyrim Book Covers- Lost Library. It adds quite a few books and it can be made to work with this mod as well. Do not hesitate to contact me about any of this. Thanks in advance.

So, which file(s) am I supposed to install?  Cause I installed the first one, but it didn't show up even after I waited for 30 seconds; So, I uninstalled that one, then installed the second one, which worked, but when I read a skill book that I had not read before, the corresponding skill didn't level up.  Ass such, I uninstalled the mod and read the book again to see if the mod was affecting things, and this time, it leveled up the skill like it was supposed to, so I'm not sure if I should have installed both the main files and the first optional one, or if this is just a bug in general.

You only need to install one of the main files.  I have no idea why the skill wouldn't level up.  Sounds like a mod conflict somewhere but when you installed it again,  then it worked which is odd.  Did you mess with the load order at all during that time?

...D'OH!  Forgot to check the load order with Loot!  Thanks for the clarification!  I'll let you know if the load order affects things.  Although maybe it's because of the 'Skyrim Book Covers' mod?  That, and ESO imports, are the only mods I have that influence the books of Skyrim

(Not sure if it makes any difference, but the skill increased when I use the console commands to spawn and read the skill books, and didn't increase when I found them out in the game world.)

Update:  So, for some baffling reason, the skill book 'the art of war magic', located in an isolated location just north of Fallowstone Cave, doesn't increase your destruction magic when you read that particular copy, but one read when spawning using console commands does.  Weird.

Looking at this in SSEedit and looking at the scripts, I'm pretty sure that the ignore lists won't work in the merged version. That's because the form-ids are hard-coded in the script calls to Game.GetFormFromFile(). Merging changes the form-ids.

This could be hand fixed. Note that the relinker in the currently released version of zEdit probably won't patch up the scripts correctly (you'd have to download and compile one of the in-progress versions). So, hand editing the scripts would work.

I'll see if I can put an AIO version together, but it would break prior saves.

The current AIO doesn't let you see any of the DLC content in the MCM.I've put together an updated version that fixes that. It's also ESL flagged so that it doesn't use one of the 256 regular plugin slots.I want to send it to you, but I don't see any way on Nexus to upload a file except by creating a mod.How can I get this to you?

Anyone upgrading would need to do a clean save.

Hi, this is an interesting mod.
You could remove the "merge" folder, as it is not needed and just a left over from "Merge Plugins" (BTW, zEdit works much better for merging :) )

Hi. I just found this mod and it just doesnt show up in mcm. Is it possible this is outdated? Even manually installed it just in case.

Definitely not outdated. Its been saved in form 44, so no worries there. Which file did you download and install and I can double check it on my end to make sure it works?

Only reason I am asking is that your the only user that has had this problem so far with it. Thanks

Thank you V. Well this mod makes sense especially since a lot of players actually want to read the books and learn the lore. Its a win-win in my opinion

Not really sure why. I haven't been able to open this list since I started using the mod. It locks my entire MCM menus - all of them. So I'll be moving through the menus okay. Then I touch this menu and get a blank list of books. When I move on to the other MCM menus, they're now inaccessible.

Is there anything I could do on my end?

      Hi,
I am not sure what to tell you about that. The scripts are pretty simple enough to track books you have read and track ones that are new and not in the list. Where do you have it in your load order? Do you use LOOT at all? Also, let me know if you use other book type mods. And obviously you have this mod below the skyui.esp as well?

Thanks for the convert, gonna test it with Unread Books Glow and moreHud soon, shouldn't be a problem I suppose.
SkyComplete also got a booklist but isn't fully converted yet, so this mod is nice to have.

If you are super bored and don't know what to convert next, check out Timinig is Everything (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38151)^^
Awesome mod with lotz of gratefull fans.

Your welcome. It works with MoreHud cuz I use that. Unread books glow shouldn't be an issue either as I have that as well.
As far as Skycomplete, don't even get me started. I have been trying to port that for the last month and a half and kefka95 has not gotten back to me at all. I have been going back and forth with the Nexus Support team and I have to wait for him to give me permission according to them. Its been beyond frustrating.
Now about Timing is Everything, that mod looks awesome. I had no idea somebody made something like that. kryptopyr is the author and I know his stuff actually. I did send him a PM asking him for permission to port that mod and I may ask him to port his other stuff too if he doesn't want to. I will definitely get back here and post an update on that if he gets back to me soon. Wish me luck.

Oh I do wish you luck^^ Those are my two fav mods. I have read the SkyComplete comments and still hoping. TiE is an awesome mod. That krypto guy is actually a girl I believe, maybe it's easier to reach her on her blog on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/kryptopyr/posts
      Keep going, thanks again

Ah its a female. Ok no worries. I forgot krypto made CACO and CCOR. Those are two very bold mods that my friend loves from Oldrim. I am gonna go on the Patreon page and see if I can get a hold of her there. Thanks for mentioning it.

As far as Skycomplete goes, I have successfully converted the mod and have it installed in my game and it works awesome. I have no issues with it at all. If I get permission, I also plan on expanding on what kefka95 planned on adding to it as well. Its just the waiting part that annoys me. I look at my mailbox symbol every day, trust me. lol

Nicela. If you are already working on it, besides her own to do list and a few minor things such as claws, a faction overview etc, a plugin for Cutting Room Floor (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/276/?) with it's quests etc would be cool, lotz of players using it.

If you are looking into TiE, it has a minor bug:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/82368
      see also the bug section

and sorry for the offtopic here

Hey no worries. Thanks for bringing up Cutting Room Floor. I use that in my game religiously. Arthmoor is an amazing modder. I have a lot of his stuff in my game. If I get permission from kryptopyr to port TiE, then I will contact the author of the Afflicted fix for his permission but the USSEP fix may be different for SSE and I would have to go into xEdit and make changes myself for that.

The other mod from krypto I asked permission for is The Choice is Yours. That seems pretty sweet too unless she was planning on bringing that over as well. I will discuss that with her when she gets back to me.

Great idea for a mod.I love having a way to track the books I actually read for real not just open.

One thing though since this is for SE why not combine the esp files into one. Everyone using this version will have all the DLC.

Can this be made compatible with Lost Library (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/902)? I believe that already contains what is in Books Books Books and more.

I am sure it can. I am going to post a comment on the page and see if I get a response. There is a lot of books that Lost Library adds. Going to load it up in xEdit and what is there and whats involved in making a patch

Update: Ok so the author of Lost Library got back to me and I asked him if he includes the Books from the Books Books Books mod and if he has then I can start working on a patch for it. It will take some time and I can't give an ETA on the patch for now. There is a lot of books in the other mod. So adding them to a patch will take time. I will wait and see what the author says for Lost Library.
