Is this still required in the latest update? The changelog mentions "many load screen fixes (frequency, model position, new models)".

FYI - Bruma CACO Rare Curios patch overrides this mod with a 5% chance for this load screen to pop up

FYI, this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/19374 incorporates this fix in its Unofficial Patch.

Edit: I previously posted short step on how to do it yourself, figured I might be stepping onto toes here so I deleted it..
anyways you can still load the mod on Tes5Edit then compare what this mod changes to its masters then apply the change yourself

Thx, I used your mod to find the load screen in BS in SSEEdit and changed it there so I didn't need an extra esp.

Yeah, I reckon that's what most people with SSEEdit will do - it does seem silly to take up a whole esp just for this tiny fix.

Changed it myself, too...then downloaded your file to endorse it and what happens? I have to wait 15 mins to be able to do that :grumble:

How about an .esl version for those who don't want to brave the eveel(TM) waters of SSEEdit?

P.S. Thanks for sharing :) I was bothered by this loading screen for sooo long but never thought of editing it....

.esl files are still a bit of a dark art for me, so I'd like to be 100% sure what I'm doing before I convert - but yes, you're right, it's the perfect kind of mod for it. I'll look into it some more next week.
Thanks for taking the time to endorse! Really appreciate it

      You're welcome :)
I "converted" a few small .esp files/patches to .esl files in SSEEdit and so far they still work. In "File header" there's "Record Flags" which you can edit and tick the ESL option. AFAIK that's all there is to it :) (however I'm by no means an expert on modding etc and wouldn't be surprised if I messed up somewhere^^)

edit: sorry, kinda tired here - if you meant it as you knowing how to do it and just not being sure about the behind-the-scenes stuff or ramifications of esling an esp, please ignore the previous paragraph...

Adding the ESL flag to the header of an ESP will make use an ESL slot while being able to be put it wherever an ESP could go. I did a bit of testing with it over the last few days, and it seems to work with plugins that override things like this one does flawlessly.

EDIT: If you want to expand your patch, feel free to copy what my NARC Remade - BS Bruma patch does.

I've actually converted all of your CC patch files to ESL for myself. It's working rather well actually (thanks for those BTW :D )

This however seems like a job for SSEEdit.

Quinn wrote a great article on ESL files. On ESPFEs and Proper Patch Plugin Placement.
