What settings are you referring to? This menu only has the settings that were available with the Ancient Ring in the original mod, plus a couple extras I added in myself.
I havent had a issue with this mod personally but there is a major error with the mod:
[00:00] Checking for Errors in [04] MoonlightTalesMCM.esp [00:00] MTSE_MCM [QUST:04000800] [00:00] QUST -> Warning: internal file FormID is a HITME: 05000800 (should be 04000800 ) [00:00] Done: Checking for Errors, Processed Records: 2, Errors found: 1, Elapsed Time: 00:00
This error means a master was ripped from the mod incorrectly and every form ID number is potentially off. The issue is that if another mod uses the Form ID number that is incorrectly assigned you could get for example a static object that all of the sudden is called in a MCM script which cant happen and wont make sense and this causes the game to CTD. NOW again please I want everyone to keep in mind these errors are serious but this is a MCM and should realistically not cause a issue unless you are using the MCM which you will near never do AND I have used this mod in a existing game with hudnreds of hours without issue. I mention the error so that the author can fix it. My load is fine with it but someone may hit the lottery and it break skyrim for them every time they try to use this mod. (assuming this mod is only used and called when the player accesses MCM which is my assuption and im pretty sure im right)
Yes, the ESP lacks "Moonlight Tales Special Edition.esp" as a master. Can be fixed by anyone in xEdit (just load both with this mod coming lower and choose "add master" when right-clicking this mod), but it would be nice if author would provide an updated version so people wouldn't have to fix it.
Have you all installed this mcm manually or through vortex? I installed through Vortex, made sure this was loaded after Moonlight Tales itself, and am not getting the menu to show up. Thoughts? Thank you in advance
Update: Nevermind, I didn't wait long enough for the mcm to show up properly. It is working fine now. Disregard lol
I'm pretty sure that he means could you carry on the mod a bit with bugfixes. It has some noteworthy bugs (so I have heard but don't know the details) and hasn't been worked on in about 5 years (author doesn't seem to be supporting it anymore), meaning it's probably destined to die if someone doesn't carry the torch for it (which is sad, it's may favorite werebeast mod in LE).
Ah, that's a bit beyond me. This mod is just a menu that interfaces with Moonlight Tales; I didn't modify the Moonlight Tales mod at all. If you want an overhaul to Moonlight Tales itself, I'm afraid I'm the wrong person to ask.
What's meant is likely that there's bugs which are noted in the comments. Some of which are real stonkers like the one mentioned by EdmondNoir on 21 September 2021 at 1:40 am. There's likely others like that and not so serious, could these be fixed please?
Even if your not going to be working with the mod author of the modification that this menu interfaces with, there's still possibly other bugs with this menu. Such as the improper removal of one of the master files (missing master) for Moonlight Tales Special Edition.

Moonlight Tales Mini - MCM
If not, is it possible to direct it to use the new mod as a master in Tes5Edit to get it working? I could do it but it sounds too easy to be true.
