This Mod was originally created by Delincious. I accidentally put my user name in the 'Created by' section by mistake. I corrected it immediately once I discovered my error. The updated page reflects this information. Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

I can ask the original author for permission and see if he gets back to me.  If he gives me the green light,  I can try and port it over

Just a quick update.  I did get permission to port over that shield mod from the original author.  I will get to work on the port very soon.

Will the dragon skull shield use textures from say a 4k dragon bones texture?

Good question.  It might.  I would say install the textures and come back here and let me know if they do.  This way I can update the page if its so.  Thanks

I see you have an list of mods you ported over to SSE.  Do you happen to take request?  If so, can you also port over: Bucklers - Shields and Other Armours to SSE as well?

Thank you and keep up the good work.

I agree. My character plays a lot of different styles depending on what I am fighting and when I switch to a one-hand and shield, its always nice to have a variety to get and use. Enjoy and have a good holiday

Hi. I really like using your mod and in reality (no lie) it is THE ONLY shield mod I use for skyrim, mainly for the immersion process of having different types of shields. I wanted to ask if you were aware of Ecotone Dual Sheath which allows the user and npcs to equip the shield on back, if yes then could you please create a patch which allows the player to equip your shields on their backs as well? Currently my iMmErSiOn iS BrEaKiNg because some of the shields do get equipped but some shields don't (on the back). Racemenu also has sliders to adjust positions of the shield wrt so it can fit even if it looks out of place! The link to the ecotone dual sheath page is -
    https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17763 .

It does give a method of creating a patch yourself but it's going over my head by a couple of miles! Since the last post here is from December 2018, I don't even know if you'll be active for sometime but I still needed to make this request! (Thanks for reading it anyway).

No there isn't sorry. The pictures in the image gallery show all of the shields in the mod. The sizes are from the Oldrim mod,all I did was port it over to SE and optimized the meshes and textures. You can always reduce the size yourself if they are too big.

    Hi!
Thanks for porting this mod to SSE!

By the way, any ideas how this would play with Immersive Armors / Weapons?
If I will use leveled lists version + bashed patch, will I get 2 or more shield on enemies?

I mean like double (tripple etc) loot issue

      Hello darksynth0,

Your welcome on the port. As far as the leveled list version goes, it should work just fine. I actually have both immersive armors and weapons installed and I have absolutely no problems at all. I looked on hothtrooper44’s page for immersive armor and none of the shields from this mod were added. Matter of fact, I went into a cave with a bunch of falmer baddies and they only dropped one of the glowshroom shields each. I wasn’t getting any duplicates. My advice would be to let LOOT place the mods in your load order for optimum placement. Immersive Armors is quite higher up in my load order. Once you make a bashed or merged patch, everything should play nice together. Lemme know if you have any issues. Good luck

      Thanks a lot!
      Guess I'll be fine!

Just one note, I've used LOOT for the long time (3+ years), but last year I moved to manually sorting mods (common sense, mod descriptions, comments and xEdit examining).
Helped me A LOT with my game's stability and mod's true functionality.

Very good. If you are comfortable with sorting your own mods, more power to you my friend. I guess if you have had a few years of experience with using LOOT and have a decent knowledge of where mods should go then you should be fine. I have over 160 mods in my game and I would not even attempt to sort them without LOOT. I am not that brave yet. Lol.

Good luck and enjoy the Shields.
