Permissions and credits

This is the official port of Shields of Skyrim from original Skyrim to SSE by Delincious.  All credits go to that author for the design and implementation of this mod and for allowing open permission to port the mod to SSE.  Many thanks for this.  The original mod can be found here:

Shields of Skyrim
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Both .esp's for this mod have been saved in the Creation Kit in form 44.  All meshes have been processed thru SSE Nif Optimizer for compatibility with Skyrim SE.  I uploaded both versions which adds a Normal crafting version and the other adds all Shields to the Leveled lists of NPC's and Vendors.  The version numbers are 1.2 and 1.21 respectively.  I have loaded the Leveled List version into my game and several Vendors have some of the shields in their inventory. So it does work for me.  Please let me know if you have any issues with the files.   This is a direct port from Oldrim and is offered as-is.  It's highly recommended to make a merged patch with SSEEdit or a Bashed patch with Wrye Bash to avoid any issues with other Shield mods adding to the Leveled Lists.

Here is the original description from Delincious on the Oldrim page with some modifications for this page:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shields of Skyrim is a mod that attempts to add a large amount of shields to Skyrimthat fit in with the general feel and ambiance of the game.

The basic version only includes recipes for crafting and tempering. Have to make the shields yourself. The Levelled Lists version includes that
as well as integration for merchants, bandits, falmer, dwemer, and loot!

All the shields except for the Imperial, Dwarven, and Dragon ones can be made without any perks. The Imperial Shields require Steel Smithing,
the Dwarven requires Dwarven Smithing, and the Dragon Skull requires Dragon Smithing.

Original:
All shields included in the mod are only accesible through smithing and can not be foundin the game world.

Leveled Lists:
Exactly the same as the original, except with added integration to the levelled lists.
This will obviously conflict with other mods that modify shield level lists.

All shields can be found wielded and sold by NPC's except for the Dragon Skull and Light DwarvenShields. The Glowshroom Shield will not be found sold by NPC's but will be found wieldedby some Falmer.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD BOTH
They are both self contained and the levelled list version DOES NOT require the original to function

Final Thoughts:
This is my third mod and it is a direct port from Oldrim.  All meshes and textures are from the Original game.  I may go back and update the textures of the Shields once I learn how to use Gimp more effectively.  I will try and look over the post section every day as to see if anyone has an issue.  Please keep in mind that I do work full time but I will always try and find time to answer questions and help out whenever I can.  Good luck to everyone and I hope you enjoy this port.
