I've updated the permissions section since there seems to be a lot more ppl making their own patch files for QotD with any given appearance mod. I'm good with ppl making patches for this mod to work with other mods! I only ask that you please follow the permission instructions when wanting to upload your patch files to the internet.
Speaking of patches and appearance changer mods, if you do use a patch file, only use that file and don't use any other QotD file. Don't use the main file and don't use 2 patch files along side each other... mod won't work if you do
Hello, I am using SDA and my own custom appearance replacer (based off of Seranaholic 1.6 HPH that was being distributed on twitter awhile ago), how would I go about patching this mod into it? I am a bit of a noob so if you could explain it in easier terms it would be nice, thank you.
So it's quite simple, you have to download SSEEdit (aka xEdit). Then you start it and open just 2 plugins: the mod with visual appearence that you want to have patch for and this mod here (vanilla version). Then you navigate to Non-Player Character (NPC) section in the QOTD plugin and you will see that the Serana NPC record is modified by those 2 mods. So you drag and drop the visual parts that you want the QOTD plugin to have. Those are usually Head Parts (sorted), Hair Color, Weight (if changed), Outfit, QNAM Texture Lightning, NAM9 Face Morphs, Face Parts, Tint Layers - you may drag the main (topmost section) of Face Tints to avoid dragging all those small parts one by one.
One last thing to add, is that to save it, act like you're closing down SSEEdit (the red X at the top right hand corner), and it'll ask you if you'd like to save there just before closing down. UD_Serana.esp will be automatically checked on so just click on ok and you're done!
Well, removing the mass paralysis spell will make her less powerful, but if you really want to get rid of it, you can modify how often it happens using SSEEdit. You can adjust it so that it happens as much, little or not happen at all:
I don't remember that patch, but unless it was made for some old version it should work. So you'd need to make sure that you have all mods installed correctly and in correct load order (patch should come last).
Thank you very much. As soon as I can test it I will put here my feedback. Best Edit: Yes appearence is good so it works fine. The mechanics anyway should be fine. Will put a hint on the Taranis Mod Site that a patch is available here.
Still got black face with the same load order, maybe I should use esp version? Also Hood Plus Hair for Serana Re-Imagined got an update on 11 Dec, 2023, maybe the patch do require an update?
Okay, I do some testing and turns out dragging the Head Part: 0SeranaDesirae "Desirae" [HDPT:FE002807] in serana reimage esp to ud-serana solve the black face problem, however, the hair lose its physic even though I use physic version for Hood Plus Hair. Edit: its original mod's problem for the hair lose its physic when unhood, but still there is black face issue.
Patch for Seranaholic by rxkx22 - SSE mod 1.8.2 Should be fine, as there are 1000 downloads. Make sure you have everything installed, including meshes and all other files, and activated plugins. All in correct order (this patch here at the end).

Please and thank you if yes or no!
may I kindly ask for a patch for The Taranis Collection - Serana? By this moment it has 370 downloads, so it may be worth.
Thanks in advance!
