A modern comment for those needing to know, it does not work currently. Neither being able to plant Jarrin Root nor it appearing in the DB sanctuary. Instead use Hanyah's version here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/29334?tab=posts which I already tested and confirmed is working.
Hey, so I don't know exactly what went wrong, but I tested this, and it just wouldn't work for some reason. I still use it, because I basically just ended up grabbing another one that does the same thing, and used this one to add Jarrin Root to the merchant lists, as a separate thing, so now I've got two version of Jarrin Root. Either way, I'm happy, because now I have extremely strong poisons, which of course was the goal. Just figured I'd let you know. Also, I did try to see if it was another mod conflicting, and that wasn't it. I have no idea, and from everything else I've heard, it's not an issue for anyone else. Probably an error of mine, honestly, so no big deal, just figured I'd let you know. Thanks either way, it still gave me extra Jarrin root and I'm fine with that.
Still a shame no-ones gone and modeled the lore friendly version of the plant. It's actually supposed to be some sort of white flower, and the root is literally the actual root, unlike canis root.
I agree. The Jarrin Flower is only Breifly mentioned throughout the entire series, but would be very cool to see someone make a mesh for it from their own inspiration.
