The mod makes changes to the quest "Trius' Trinket" (00043BAB). However, this is an unfinished quest. To the best of my knowledge, the player will never see the changes made to the objectives. (UESP entry.)
The main reason I point this out (as it is pretty harmless) is that this record overwrites the USMP's fix for this quest (it removes the "Start Game Enabled" and "Starts Enabled" flags).
Does this mean I can just un-track these quests? Or will I generally just have to make sure all quests that are currently active are in a completed state?
It only applies the the scripts included with EBQO and that's only because scripts can be cached into your save file. If any of them are active, then I would suggest completing those quests first. For quests that aren't associated with any of the scripts, EBQO can be installed/uninstalled at any time.
Hi, just to be on safe side regarding saves, is it safe to delete the scripts from this mod? Would the mod still work without them, or would that cause issues? Thanks in advance!
I wouldn't use it. This mod has the edits from USSEP that it needs. There may need to be an update since I haven't updated this mod in a long time (real life is busy), but you shouldn't need any 3rd party USSEP patches.
I don't get it. I mean I've seen the bugs bunny cartoon but I live in Santa Fe and have never made a wrong turn at Albuquerque. How? It isn't that big. You have two major highways i-25 which goes north and south and i40 which goes east and west. How big an idiot do you need make a wrong turn here. Seriously. WTF?
It's an idiom for when a small mistake early on leads to a wildly unintended outcome.
From google: "The specific mention of Albuquerque is likely due to the fact that Route 66 was rerouted at one point in that area, and it actually crosses itself, causing confusion for travelers."
Might not be that big of an issue nowadays, but back then it prolly threw quite a spanner into a lot of people's commute. Hence why the idiom remains, though the origins faded.
LOOT complains that "BetterQuestObjectives.esp: You seem to be using Legacy of the Dragonborn v5+, but you have not enabled a compatibility patch for this mod. A compatibility patch is included with this plugin installer".
Point is, I can't find such "patch" nor here nor on LOTD page.
Its in the fomod. Not sure that its compatible with v6 though. While there are no "errors" in SSEedit for v6 I remember this being disabled in Lexy's guide so its probably not needed.
So... a couple of quick questions, but: - Do I need both v1.10 and v1.11 in order for ATYOP compatibility? Because having 1.10 deactivated throws a missing ESP for EBQO from 1.11, but if it's activated, it throws a load order conflict with ATYOP still. I'm assuming I want both, but can't hurt to check. - If I do want it activated, do I load it before or after ATYOP's files? Again, assuming the latter, but certainty helps.
Is it possible to update the Patch for BCS to work with BCS Updated instead? The mod website has been taken down, but it's avalaible for download here:
It looks like it's built around this version, actually, given that it targets Special Edition. The original "Better Quest Objectives" mod was only for the 2011 release after all.

PS4 version? - Also done, check Bethesda.net. This one removes the unofficial patch dependency, as said mod cannot be made for the PS4.

Would this be considered safe to install/update mid-game?

but then there is this GEneral patch mod : https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/112061?tab=posts
I am not sure If I need his BQO + USSEP Patch?
I also looked into the patch in Xedit but it's quite weird. it's forwarding USSEP changes and ur records ended up losing.
not sure If I should have it installed

Does anyone else have the same problem?
