Thanks for the response! Does this mean I can just un-track these quests? Or will I generally just have to make sure all quests that are currently active are in a completed state?
It only applies the the scripts included with EBQO and that's only because scripts can be cached into your save file. If any of them are active, then I would suggest completing those quests first. For quests that aren't associated with any of the scripts, EBQO can be installed/uninstalled at any time.
I'm almost finished putting together a mod that has some overlap with this mod re: quest edits. I am a long-time user of EBQO and in my personal load order have made a patch that reconciles the overlaps. I was wondering whether I was allowed (ie permissions) to forward some EBQO changes into my mod and release that (with attribution given). Thanks !
Absolutely! Per the permissions on the description, the only things you can't do is upload the mod to other sites, convert the mod for use with other games, or make a profit from the use of the mod (earning Donation Points vis Nexus is okay).
better quest objectives is messing with a lot of quests for example with missing in action I had to forward the updated ussep patch into this mod in xedit after doing so the quest continued to progress after I done so; w ;
I have the current NEW ussep patch the one for 1.6.1+ game version went I went the neutral route it didn't progress until I forward the changes from it
This mod, even though was working for a good year with 1.6.640 now crashes everytime at the Bethesda Logo. What could have caused this if it was working before without issue and I didn't do anything to update it? How weird.
"Update" I deleted it from the mod list in Vortex, re-downloaded it, then made sure it was all pointing to the right mods I was using, and then it worked again. Perhaps it was something I changed from the original mods, like the Paarthurnax Dilema, to JaySerpa's one. Regardless, if this is happening to you, please delete, then download and install again and make sure your mods are all correct for the mod to work.
If you've downloaded any of Arthmoor's Mod updates from AFKMods - they all have the new header 1.710000 for AE v1.6.1170. Any new mods with that header will CTD an older game version. Get the Backported Extended ESL Support plugin, which should fix that for older games.
Hi, installing this on a new build with v1.6.1170 and wondering if this needs an update to sync with most recent USSEP. Doing a quick conflict check i noticed most USSEP changes are integrated however this one does not.
Also, any idea on compatibility with mods Quest Conflict Fixes or SSOB ? Quest Conflict Fixes is old and moved off Nexus with Arthmoor, but I've always used the above 2 mods. Here are images of the few records in question.
EDIT: So I just loaded SSoB after and made patches for the rest of em. There were several others. will put in spoiler.
Would like to report that this mod was causing CTD'ing at the Bethseda logo on game start up when in a Mod list with Alternative Start - Live Another Life - SSE (id:272) Version 4.2.1 along with a couple of patches for JK's Interiors and JK's Solitude Outskirts patch collections (can provide links to those if needed, I am also planning to post in comments about this same topic as well). Took me some trial and error and over an hour to work out what was going wrong. Good news is I still have a previous AS-LAL-SSE Version that I could revert to, Version 4.2.0 I think that I had downloaded in Aug '23 before 4.2.1. Reverting to 4.2.0 fixed the CTDs for all involved mods/patches.
I was recommended to install Backported Extended ESL Support. Tried it out with another recently updated (~jan 2024 iirc) mod that was giving me the same trouble and that fixed it. Certainly something worth trying I think.
I do wonder if we'll have something like description framework that has AI scraped flavor descriptions from uesp et al for each, e.g. location alias, and is able to shoot these into the quest descriptions...
I'm trying to use this mod as part of the STEP guide for Skyrim AE on GOG (v.1.6.659.0.8). In the process of doing a mod by mod check.
And I get a CTD before the main menu when I enable this mod. I'm using USSEP v 4.2.9a, because it's the recomended version for GOG Skyrim. At least for now.
The issue seems to be updated mods. In my case it was cutting room floor. Once that was removed it stopped the CTD's. Optionally, you can search on reddit. Someone will have an archive link for some of the mods if you need an older version.
Sounds like what I was experiencing this evening. Both this mod and Patches from a couple of Patch collections I had added today were causing CTD before main menu until I reverted another mod, Alternate Start - LAL V4.2.1 details above. That fixed the CTD'ing for me.

PS4 version? - Also done, check Bethesda.net. This one removes the unofficial patch dependency, as said mod cannot be made for the PS4.
Would this be considered safe to install/update mid-game?

*Note they have the new header for AE v1170 so won't work in older game versions without the Backported Extended ESL Support plugin.
Patches are for: USSEP - Quest Conflict Fixes - Save The Dark Brotherhood - Misc College of Winterhold Tweaks and HASTE
