I've had quite a few people ask me recently, so I wanted to make it totally clear:
MCoW doesn't change quests. The only quest related reference that is swapped is the one pointing the Archmage bed to the new one instead of the old one. That's all!
I gotta say. This is probably still in my top 3 for College Overhauls. Probably the most stable I've played with, and it's got enough things to keep me interested. I've always found it comboed best with my favourite home mod too. Looking forward to making use of this one again.
So I just finished the main College of Winterhold quest, and when I enter the Arch-Mages Quarters, all of the students and teachers are standing around the table near the entrance to the Quarters. I can talk to each of them and they have their standard dialogue, but nothing I do seems to trigger anything different.
Is this a bug, or is it intentional? If it is intentional, is there a way to dismiss them so they go back to doing their own thing around the College? I can't seem to figure out if I'm missing something.
Edit: Nevermind. I forgot that I installed a mod called "Better Skyrim Parties" which included a celebration scene after being named Arch-Mage.
The AI Overhaul patch immediate ctd.. Seems like the AI Overhaul is a troublesome piece of software in general.. The mod itself woks just fine, but ppl who patching it, tend to runs into trouble. Like the Qw RS Children patch and the couple others I've personally encountered
I've got both AI , but I've tried yer collage today, as it marked not having any bug report and then the ctd happened. I know all that about Immersive problems, and I was mentioning the AI Overhaul, and it related patches causing the problems. I'm doing a new play trough, and I'm sorting all the mods and testing everything I can..🙄
Unfortunately I can't reproduce any CTD with AI Overhaul and my patch, so I can't help much. :(
A really broad option is to bring up your load order in SSEEdit, highlight your patch-type mods and right click > check for errors. Do it in sections if you have a lot of them. If you don't have a missing master file somewhere (the usual cause of immediate CTDs), a missing entry in a masterfile for a patch could be the culprit.
I missed the main AI patch that gave me the craps..sry for that. Version 1.8.5 without CC. Minor bug fixes. For SE 1.5.97 I'm being an EE, usually very anal about these things, like missing something on a schematic..I looked over again and got it. Tried it again and it's 👍 Thanx for pushing my eyes right into it..lol
I have a problem with Drevis Neloren. In the beginning he behaves normal, walking around and goes to sleep in time, but after a time, he becomes paranoid, running around or takes a frightened position covering his head with his hands and never goes to sleep anymore. It happens probably after I started the Revealing the Unseen quest (not sure). I use AIO Overhaul, Run for Your Lives and CRF. I restarted the game many times and it happens every time. All the other College members behave normal. Any Idea what causes this?
Sadly I haven't a clue outside of it not being from MCoW. No NPCs or their packages are edited by this mod. You can try waiting for 10+ in-game days away from the College and see if he calms down.
Otherwise you could try bringing up your load order in SSEEdit and see if anything's touching him directly. If it was other NPCs too I'd guess a mod with a badly set up cloak spell.

I'm so happy that you guys have fun with what I worked so hard on.
Your kind words mean everything!

Edit: No patch need

My patch is for: AI Overhaul
There's another mod called Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul, which last I checked doesn't allow patches to be made for it.
