About this mod
A custom Daedric armor replacer, nifbashed from vanilla and Creation Club parts in two different flavors. For 3BA and HIMBO. Regular and HDT-SMP versions also available.

Skyrim's vanilla Daedric armor is almost great, but the design we got in the vanilla game is a wonky, cluttered, asymmetrical mess. So after taking inspiration from Orcrage's More Daedric Armors, I took it upon myself to make a Daedric armor mashup with a more symmetrical and (in my opinion) cohesive look, as well as support for both sexes and BodySlide.
Comes with prebuilt armor meshes and a custom ground mesh.
UPDATE 1.2:
Made a second variation of the armor using the small pauldrons from the CC Daedric armor for a bulkier look overall, minus the silly spikes.
Now you have two flavors to choose from: Smaller pauldrons with spikes, or larger pauldrons without spikes.
UPDATE 1.2.1:
Added an optional remeshed Daedric helmet with symmetrical small horns as another option, since the helmet from Symmetric Daedric Armor Replacers uses the large horns.
UPDATE 1.3:
HDT-SMP physics! Now you can enjoy this redesigned Daedric armor with glorious cloth physics from the modern age. Mad props to furexarot for HDT-SMP Vanilla Armors, which I used as a base.

INSTRUCTIONS
Install the mod through the mod manager of your choice. Install after any mods that touch the vanilla Daedric armor meshes. Only install one variation of the replacer at a time!
The mod comes with prebuilt armor meshes with zeroed sliders, but in case you want to build for a different preset: Open BodySlide, select "Daedric But Good" for either body base, then build for your desired preset.
The BodySlide files also come with a zap slider for the glowy bits on the armor, in case you want to turn them off to make the armor look closer to Orcrage's.
And you're all set!
RECOMMENDATIONS
To further enhance the look of Daedric gear, I recommend the following mods:
-Symmetric Daedric Armor Replacers (for a symmetrical helmet with its respective ground mesh - this one uses the long horns on the Daedric helmet, mine uses the short horns)
-LeanWolf's Better-Shaped Weapons SE OR Believable weapons (for improving the appearance of the weapons - both mods have very different aesthetics and are up to preference)
-More Daedric Shields (for symmetrical shield replacers - I personally use the buckler shield with large upper spikes, but you can pick your favorite flavor :D)
