In Skyrim, most animation transitions are abrupt there's often no actual transition animation when switching between states. 
Smooth Moveset addresses this by adding seamless transitional animations creating a more natural and immersive experience.


The first feature introduces context-aware idle transitions.

When you draw your weapon, your idle animation will change depending on the situation.

If an enemy recognizes the player as hostile, a combat idle is maintained.

Otherwise, the animation smoothly transitions to a non-combat idle.











Even while your weapon is already drawn,

encountering an enemy will automatically switch your idle into a combat stance.






 

If you're using TDM (True Directional Movement), you’ll notice that locking onto an enemy

forces a combat idle, and unlocking returns you to the non-combat stance—all with smooth transitions.







These context-sensitive idles also apply after attacking

if combat ends, the animation returns to non-combat idle, and vice versa.









Small but immersive details like stop animations after movement are also included,

adding a subtle sense of weight and realism.

It’s not a hard requirement, but the War Hammer and Battle Axe Movement Fix mod is needed to fix bugs related to 2hw locomotion.
