A new assignment awaits you at the thieves guild. Take on a job from Cynric and free an asset from the confines of prison.
This mod features a new quest that implements jailbreaking, a topic which was briefly introduced but never utilized in the vanilla game. It has been designed so you can install whenever during your playthrough. After completing the mission Loud and Clear, talk to Delvin to start the quest Jailbreaker and receive your first objective.
There are currently two ways this quest can end. Ideally if you complete the mission and rescue Aryssa, she will be recruited into the guild. She has a "unique" service allowing her to clear your bounties for a price, but a fair warning - if your overall bounty is too high, she will actually refuse her services to you. This is to ensure a balanced gameplay.
If you fail the quest, Cynric will have dialogue pertaining to the event and the quest will be marked as failed. I have not included any additional content and Aryssa will not be recruited. This will be changed in a future update, and I assumed most people would attempt to complete the quest anyway.
IMPORTANT: If you have used the secret passage in the Riften Jail once, you may not be able to access it again in the current playthrough due to a bug/limitation in vanilla game. Leaving through the front door may be your only option.

First, avoid uninstalling if you have already started the quest but have not gotten arrested and sent to jail. The vanilla entrance to the jail has been made inaccessible and will remain so until this point.
This mod contains a script that registers for the updatesinglegametime event when having your bounty cleared. I advise against uninstalling/updating during this process as I'm unsure of the repercussions. To be safe, wait 48 in-game hours. You'll receive a notification when the process has completed. Additionally, you can type the console command sqv jbrk_bountyhandler to pull up all information related to the script which handles the bounties. If the global IsBountyUpdating is set to false, you're good to go.
