I was doing some quests after installing the mod and soon, Inigo got stuck by the entrance of a cave and will not leave no matter what I do. I have tried to push him in the direction, tell him to wait and then follow again, even telling him to go back to his cell but that just caused more problems. When I said for him to go back the model would disappear but he would still be in the location. He will follow me around in the cave but will not leave and I would like to use this mod further.

It is better to ask questions in the main comments, more likely to get seen.

Let me guess, Broken Oar Grotto?  That is a vanilla bug that can affect all NPCs, not just Inigo.  Use his summon spell outside the cave to bring him to you, if you have it.  If you do not have it, at the bottom of the front page of the mod, there is an emergency summon console command for use if he gets stuck before you do his quest.

      setpqv InigoStatus Recover Inigo
(This will move him to your position, so stand in a clear area outside.)

Open the console and click on Inigo. Close the console
Leave the cave and enter moveto player in the console
Some caves (Broken Oar Grotto) are not follower friendly

It's not an Inigo bug. The Inigo mod is not responsible for the navmesh issues found inside world cells. Broken Oar Grotto is simply one of the worst spots in the game unless you have fixes installed. And there'd be no reason for the Inigo mod to jump scope and start fixing Bethesda's navmesh problems. That's why Eolhin called it a "vanilla bug" in his response years ago. Use USSEP, Navigator, or similar mods to mitigate navmesh holes. Or, the console command Eolhin recommended is a quick fix to bring Inigo to you if you don't have the skills to use quality of life patches.
