honestly i prefer this perk it eliminates the huge downside of the ritual spells in that you can't move allowing enemies to constantly interrupt you if they get close
Actually if you use console to search for throne of nirn, you can give yourself the perk anyway and it still functions. Just missing from the skill tree. But the code is still there.

Could you make it so as a power so you can turn it on or off permanently when convenient? Not as temporary but as permanent on or off. I try looking for the option but in powers and MCM but it was not there.
The original method was so annoying! I'm using my invisibility spell to steal something, or pick a lock, and all of a sudden the screen goes black for half a sec, and transports me either into the air, or on top of a roof. I had to see if anyone had fixed this, and you certainly have! Only drawback is that it takes up a spot in my load order. Would be great if there was a way to change that. Endorsed!
It might be safe to eslify if you compact the FormIDs in XEdit, but I'd be sure to test it afterwards as apparently doing that can break scripts sometimes. I've eslified a few other simple scripted mods in the past that ended up working fine though so it may be worth a shot.
I patiently leveled my Alteration skill to 80, eyeing the Throne of Nirn hungrily over my 40-hour playthrough of Beyond Reach. Once I finally got the perk, I was very disappointed. I'm using the Spellsiphon mod as my primary combat method (I CANNOT recommend Spellsiphon highly enough, it is incredible!!!!) and it requires near-constant holding of spells, so I'd find the Throne of Nirn kicking in every few seconds whether I wanted it or not.
Playing in VR (I don't know how this is in Skyrim "flat"), the screen blacks out for a moment and then pops back in with you on top of the pillar, which is jarring enough, let alone when you have no control over it. It actually made me feel LESS powerful. I played with the perk activated for maaaaybe 10 minutes before I thought to myself, I either need a mod to fix this, or I will need to reload my last save and forego this perk that I've wanted for so long.
This mod fixes both issues: Throne of Nirn is now manually-activated, and there is no screen blackout thanks to the animation fix. This mod is absolutely ESSENTIAL and, for such a small thing - it's not adding weapons or quests or new armors or perks, but rather just a "minor" fix - this took a perk from being absolutely unusable as-is, to something that is a joy to activate.
This is a great idea and a great mod. I do have a quick question, though. The throne only spawns for me when I'm in 3rd person. I have a very heavily modded game so the problem is likely something on my end and NOT the fault of this mod. Any ideas on what could cause this?

so i assume this mod which improves that perk won’t work anyway…or is there a way to have that power nonetheless?
Would love if this gets integrated into the original mod.
If it doesn't, is it possible to turn it into an independent power or spell?

So my bet is it works if you cheat it.

THANK YOU for making this!! :)
I am having the same problem.
I also use wet and cold. Which setting do you find that was causing that bug?
