EDIT: Confirmed it works. Just run no pauldrons (from the original mod page) version through Nif Optimizer program and place it below the main file from here. The only issue is that body slide wont recognize the change and still shows the pauldroned version so you need to make it body slide compatible.
Just run the no pauldrons version through Nif Optimizer and place it below the main file from here. Since body slide won't recognize the change and still shows the pauldron version, we need to make it body slide. Hmm...keep in mind that 95% of people wanting to do this has no idea how to do any of that. It's like saying "Just do an oil change and swap out your old brake pads for new ones. It's easy!"
Another situation where it's easy once you've done it, but most of us have no idea where to even start.
Just a quick question re: installation - when you say, "allow overwrites", do you mean this should load after the original or before? I've loaded it after (against Vortex's suggestion) so please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
'Allow overwrites' means, like whenever you try to replace one file with another of the same name, you're allowing my mod to replace the original mod's files. Thus, it must be loaded after.
This may seem like a silly question, but after running this through Bodyslide with my preset selected and batch building with my preset as well, this armor will show up in game as the slim preset. I have gotten other armors to get close to my preset but not this one. It looks good but changes the characters body when equipping the cuirass to the slim. It's worth noting that the armor appears in the bodyslide preview with my preset correctly, but shows up in-game with the slim build.
BodySlide only generates what's in the preview. If you're not getting that, then something else is interfering...usually mod managers with that 'virtual installation' thing (MO and I think Vortex). Make sure the files BodySlide generates are overwriting/loading after the files in this mod.
If you're still paying attention to the this, I'm having issues getting the BodySlide version I made to show in-game. It just appears as the standard non CBBE version of the armor.
If you don't even have the CBBE Slim version of this in your game, then it's not installed, or installed properly. All I can suggest is that you make sure you've installed according to whatever way your mod manager says to, and that this comes after any other glass replacer mods (such as the CBBE and original Truly Light ones). I've only ever installed manually or with Wrye Bash, which always work, so can't help with other mod managers.

Could you do a male version?
Also, FAQ2.
