This issue has been bothering me for months now, and all my attempts to make Hrongar attend basic dictionary class have been futile.
I have found myself spending many nights, pondering how could Bethesda leave such a matter unattended. Was this an elaborate joke ? Was this peak character representation ? I still not know the answer to this day...
But now I know I can finally approach Dragonsreach.
he saids it that way because of cut dialogue we was suppose to have with him, you can't find much information about it, but basically we are supposed to asked him about his dislike and trust in him, and when we ask "But isn't proventus his adviser? he supposed to seek his counsel." (i can't remember the full line or how it was exactly) and he suppose to say that line, making it clear his brother prefers the man daughter counsel then his actual adviser, and i am sure we can figure out what he really ment by that. but he could just be stating he not very intelligent compared to a blacksmith, but given how Balgruuf seems, i dont think it is her brains he was interested in. but with the cut dialogue it doesn't make sense why his line was still like that. (he also expresses how stupid he thinks of him during the cut conversation, and calls him a coward, and all of other stuff.)
oh my friend, there are so many little spelling and other grammatical mistakes in subtitles, you could spend the rest of your days finding and correcting them all. Life's too short IMO but if this floats your boat . . .
