Seifu's PBR Preem Dwarven Pipeworks is a PBR Remake for Preem Dwarven Pipeworks Redux. Just for clarification purposes, this is not a "PBR Conversion", this is a "PBR Remake". This is probably the first time ever PBR has been handled correctly on a Skyrim mod.
This mod is the culmination of an in-depth research about Comunity Shaders' "True PBR", the development of a custom unique shader template for my texturing software designed to work with Skyrim (which is required for a proper PBR workflow), and the design and implementation of two unique advanced PBR materials, those being Dwemer bronze, and rusted bronze.
This mod is distributed in 2 flavors: "Bronze" and "Rust". Bronze is a lore-friendly PBR interpretation of Dwemer bronze. "Rust" has been designed for those of you who prefer rusty bronze on your Dwemer ruin explorations! Feel free to choose between 2k or 4k textures depending on your hardware. Both of them look awesome.

Make sure you have downloaded and installed all the requirements first. This includes:
- Comunity Shaders for Skyrim SE/AE and all its requirements.
- Preem Dwarven Pipeworks PART 1 and all its requirements.
Then, you can proceed with this mod's installation:
- Download and install PBR Preem Dwarven Pipeworks - Part 1
- Choose ONLY ONE part 2x of your preference. Download it and install it.
If you are using a mod manager install it like any other mod. If you are not using a mod manager, simply drop the files in your Skyrim SE/AE installation directory.
This mod is NOT compatible with ENB, as it doesn't support PBR.

Do I need to run ParallaxGen?
No, it's not required.
Why there's no "matte" variant, like in the non-pbr version?
The whole point of "matte" was to look more vanilla-like. This mod is running on PBR, so there's no way it will look more similar to vanilla without loosing what makes it look like PBR in the first place, so it felt meaningless to work on this version. Also it's already a lot of work to properly cover these two variants.
Will you work on pipes with glow/burn effects?
Yes. It's most likely coming next month. I'm also working on Preem Dwemer Gratings, and that one is currently my highest priority, let's give some rest to dwemer pipes for a few weeks! :p
Do you have an artist portfolio?
I've already been asked this question twice, so I'll include it on the FAQ: no, I currently don't have a portfolio, I'm currently focused on implementing more cool stuff into Rene, but will most likely work on one in a month or two. If you want to hire me though, reach back to me so we can have a chat! Thanks for asking!

Skyrim Rene VOL. I is focusing on dwemer dungeons. The project is almost finished by now and includes new 3D models for ALL static and animated meshes used on dwemer dungeons, all of which come with new textures developed with modern development software and techniques. The project also includes tweaks to the level design of all dungeons and reworked volumetric lighting.
Skyrim Rene is currently under development and all features listed above will be slowly released during the course of 2025.
