If I am reading and interpreting your question correctly, I recommend not changing the USSEP plugin directly in SSEEdit. The worst case scenario is you do this for other plugins and break something in your game. Most inconvenience case is you have to make the changes every time you install an update for USSEP.
@Kedavix That is correct. It's best to make changes in a seperate plugin, which means you won't have to keep making the same changes every time USSEP updates.
