I did my best to make the instructions as clear as possible, but they still require some knowledge of operating NifSkope and working with transparency/alpha masks in your image editing software of choice. I used Photoshop with the Intel Texture Works .dds plugin to edit the textures.
Patching a texture by copying the alpha mask from one of mine:
In your .dds-compatible image editing software of choice, import the texture you want to patch and the corresponding texture from this.
On both images, convert their existing alpha channel to an alpha/transparency mask.
Copy my texture's alpha mask and overwrite the target texture's mask with it.
Apply the target texture's alpha mask, otherwise it might not be properly exported.
