    "NPC death while feeding will result in a permanent increase in stats" - in a long play terms this might make you very tanky and the game super easy, i think this should be optional for balance and compatability reasons, because some overhauls or custom perk trees do the same or something similar and this mod described as bug fix.

    P.S This thing sounds good on paper, but when you hit 60 level and drain thousands of people, you may start regreting about installing such challenge destroying mod, and hey lets nof forget about that vampirism is a curse not a bless

      The only known vampirism overhaul that makes such changes is Sacrosanct and the mod has a compatibility patch for it already inside the mod. Most vampire mods are aimed at either skinny mages or BDSM fans, so I wanted to give a head start to players who specialize in melee combat too (not all of them play werewolves).

      P.S. As for the calculations, in order to have 60 points of unarmed damage(say - with 4 points of vanilla damage for humanoid races) you need to Drain about 560 people, since the increase in the UnarmedDamage stat is only +0.1 points.

      Personaly i play with "Vampire Claws I Unarmed moveset for vampires (MCO I SCAR)", "Hand to Hand - An Adamant Addon", "Blood of the Ancients - Permanent" and "Haemophilia - A Custom Vampire Skill Tree" that give 20 points of unarmed damage, attribute bonuses and it feels already alot. So if even 10 unarmed damage bonus will be recived from drainings it will start outdamage any weapon in the game, and if i start enchant my gauntlets for unarmed damage bonus, pick skills in hand to hand addon, it will make dovahkiin One-Punch Man skyrim edition. Only thing i need is bug fixes, not another vampire gameplay bonuses, so i think i stick to the old VFE mod for now.

      Download the sinister 7 vampires or normal sinister 7 (ive only tried vampires so can't speak for the original) but once you play with that your character won't be that OP anymore most likely... I felt my game was a little easy till I got that mod and also added on strigoi (tho I disabled all the bonuses) plus add on Better vampire npcs) and holy s#*! my character can't sit still anywhere without risk of lvl 60-70 mega vampire hunting her down and works for lore coz my vampire feeds on other vamps, u can make up any reason why they're hunting you but it'll make you feel like you need to grind like s#*! just to defend yourself.
      I literally had to change my difficulty from master to novice and I'm still dying from  at lvl 30

    How would one go about disabling the damage on feed?

    I'm just interested in the bugfixes, the mod is cool and all, but basically can't feed on anyone without killing them with it. 🤔

      whats stupid is that cattle have 50 health and your bit does 50 damage
      the bite should never kill someone
      it should do 49 damage instead.
      or cattle should have 51 health instead.

      i wrote this BAT file for cattle. 
      it adds 1 Health, and it gives them a decent regenerate rate, so you can feed again in 30 seconds they will be full up on health.

      you open your command console up.
      you target your cattle with the mouse
      you run that script on them 1 time,

      if you want to bite them over and over for test purposes
      and you dont want to sit there and wait for them to regenerate

      give them +5000 health, instead of +1

      they tend to have 50 hp thats as much as the vampire bite usually does
      this leaves them with 1 health left and lets the regenerate up

      I'm in the same boat too since there should be a difference between sneak feed and sneed feed (lethal).  Right now there's no difference and I'm killing people that I want to stay alive.  I hope there's an update soon or I may have to remove the mod sadly even though it's a good mod.

    i'm having an issue in game, i press the feed button, but the character does not play an animation.
    this has been broken for months, i dont know how i broke it or what mods are causing this.

    i used your Vampire Feed Improved mod for a long time. it fixed some things.
    things were working out great.

    now the animation wont play. 
    where should i start looking to fix this problem ?

    *i tried a brand new games, with no mods installed except "Curse of the Vampire"
    the feed worked perfectly fine.
    somehow i got some broke mod installed, i have 600 mods,

      I recently decided to try this mod. As an example, I used the script from this mod. Only if we are talking about some additional scenes, then my mod will force the standard vampire animations to run, as if the NPC was standing or sleeping.

      Hello everyone. Thanks for the mod! I hope it does what it promises to do. Because that bug is really annoying.

      P.S. This is the 2nd sentence in the description of Sacrosanct - Vampires of Skyrim: 'Reverse progression (stronger when fed), new abilities, powers, perks, hemomancy, various new progression systems and many gameplay tweaks for the discerning undead monster.'

    Hello there - ich have a big request. If you are sufficiently knowledgeable about the feeding mechanic in sacrosanct, would you write a dedicated compatability section on the main page? Because i really love the flat 1-point increase in Health, Mag and Stam i get from draining with ScS. I wouldn't wanna loose it. I also like the notion of a little greater reward for draining vamps, although i'm not aware of any vampires actually sleeping at some point in the game.

      Hello. The mod automatically detects the presence of Sacrosanct, and if it is installed, then the increase in characteristics only works in the form of Vampire Lord - just then the Kiss of Death ability is not used.

    I am using better vampires, and sneak feeding/ feeding twice to kill is not counted as murder. Is this because it's different than normal feeding?

      Might be due to sneaking if Sneak is high enough. I get bounties when Sneak is low but not when sneak is high, usually. Unless doing it right in a crowd.

      Really? I'm not referring to bounties, but the murder counter in crimes that counts the total murders committed not just bounties. I use skyrim reputation since it keeps track of your total murders (unseen and seen as previously mentioned) and your neck bites, vampirism comments, times seen using blood magic... etc. 

      I've been using the assasinate from sneak tools so that its still a murder and then corpse feed, but I'd prefer to sneak feed. I think it's probably because better vampire's modifies the feeding. Vampire feed proxy may begin to be fully compatible with better vampires we will have to see, that may solve the problem.

      Hi. The conditions for killing an NPC, as I recently learned, must be the player's detection of a neutral faction NPC - that is, if you kill a thrall in Castle Volkihar, then most likely it will not count. What you consider a double kill may also simply be a double bounty - first for being detected in while feeding, and then the murder itself. In any case, I updated the mod and the functions responsible for the kill should be compatible with other mods.

      The reason here, as I described earlier, is that the only NPC who saw the fact of Drain feeding was a follower, not a neutral NPC. Try doing the same in the central square of Whiterun and check the statistics. Preferably - on the new version of the mod.
