Just to be super clear - this mod has zero conflicts with survival mods.
It does have a dependency on Update.esm, which adds Survival_FoodRestoreHungerLarge keywords to foods. I think everyone should have that one though via any steam install...
Just wanted to share my config so far centered around subsistence for anyone looking for ideas
It's easy to spam stack 20+ food items to give yourself some wild early game OP regen with Subsistence, so I use SSE Gameplay Tweaks (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/41953) to prevent eating food while you have a food regen effect active: "You are stuffed. You can't ingest any more food or drink right now!"
Use No Food Spam during battle to further ban food when weapons drawn (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/103271)
Only Potions can be used in battle now using Ultimate Animated Potions NG (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/97674) for a Dark Souls style healing system using SkySouls unpaused menus
More useful stamina potions to revamp stamina so it goes well with Valhalla Combat/MCO combat systems (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/140101)
Great idea. Do you have a config file for gameplay tweaks you can share? The mod had zero instructions and the config file is incredibly confusing. All the options by default look like they are turned on.
Appreciate the update to the original mod. Much smoother implementation.
I wanted to ask if this would apply to all humanoid NPCs, including followers. New to modding here, and I am starting a new play-through and noticed that Faendal does not regenerate any health automatically after the default bleed-out state. If it is intended, would giving any followers healing items (food, potions, etc.) be advisable? Any insight is appreciated.
This mod is exactly what I needed in my load order! I've noticed the raw foods provide a similar amount of healing to the cooked food, and was wondering if there's a way to separate the raw foods from their cooked counterparts? Maybe make the raw foods do very little healing in comparison?

I personally use Super Simple Needs and Frostbite for survival stuff, but you certainly don't have to. Also, Simple Food Spoilage System (v4 is my preference) also helps.
