    ancient mod
    this is still so good

just let it overwrite all conflicts

makes the foam at the base of a waterfall all hazy too like the waterdrops in the air are refracting light

I downloaded smooth waters and no other water mod yet.
Had some square graphicical glitches at those vulcanic pool places and hoped downloading this mod would fix it.
It did + the modded bonus :)

There is no plugin, this is just a mesh replacer

Wow, that was dumb of me, I could have sworn it was plugin based

is it possible to add heat waves to the sea of ghosts, i really like this effect and want to see it used more often in larger areas.

Isn't the sea of ghosts supposed to be really cold, though? That seems like an odd place to add a heat haze.

the idea was to make the water look wavy under the water. the heat wave effect looks perfect for that idea, or maybe even the effect that's used for the time wound, that was also transparent and wavy looking.

Is compatible with FYX - Water Splash?
I use FYX - Water Splash - Water for ENB - WEBaRF, must overwrite or no?

      • Q: Is this compatible with "XYZ"?
      • A: As long as a mod doesn't overwrite the same effect files as this, it'll be compatible with everything.

I checked cross referenced the two mods and FYX - Water Splash and this mod both use the "fxsplashlargechurn.nif" file, so probably not. You could try letting this overwrite FYX - Water Splash, I only use this mod so I don't know. Worth a try.

So you said this goes great with a mod that adds damage to the steam. What is a good mod that does that? I have never seen one that does that. Would like to check it out and try it with this mod. You have peaked my interest.

There was an old mod that would do this, there's a new version "Fires Hurt NG" that does it with SKSE plugin instead of scripting. I'm not 100% sure it adds damage to the volcanic water but worth a shot.

I wanted to try this, but it conflicts with two mods that will always get priority - Realistic Waters Two and Bright Waterfall Fix.

There is no objective answer to that. If you're running on a 15 year old laptop, having 2 extra rabbits on the screen could cause performance impact for you, but nobody else.

This simply adds the heatwave effect used in fires to the heat pools, so it's the same as having a fire on the screen.

Try it, if it causes problems, remove it, easy! :)
