This mod adds a simple script to make npc's face the enemy and flee when using potions and consuming food, this mod is not perfect.
Use Spell Perk Item Distributor (SPID) bring every NPC an spell, when they comsume potion or food in combat, they flee while facing combat target for seconds.
This mod is make for Ultimate Animated Potions NG and Eating Animations and Sounds SE (if you disable the sheath weapon only and install the NPCs use Potions), work well with EAS but with UAPNG, NPC would flee when their potions come to effect, and when they flee indoor, they might not leave you but come closer to you, as i say, easy and not perfect (for i don't know how to make skse mod and nobody seems to going to make this mod)
this mod only edit the flee lines of npc, so they will not yield when they drink potion. if npc is over 200 level, they do not flee anymore.
