This looks really cool, but when I go to run it it gives me the error.
Thing is I'm Running Win 10, and when I go to try and install Visual C++ 2015 runtime ( https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=52685) that errors out and tells me a another version of this product is already installed.Checking my installed programs I have Visual C++ 2017 redistributable installed.
BSA Auto Extract then terminates the extracting process and won't finish properly extracting the BSA.
Yah I think Win 10 does. I did some looking at it looks like Win 10 comes with the Visual C++ VS 2017 built in, and MS considers that good to run 2015 content or something because it won't let me install the 2015 redistributable. I'm no programmer, but perhaps the version check in your application needs tweaked to better detect the Win 10 stuff?
I don't have a terrible strange install because about 6 months ago I did a clean install to clear out some weirdness of my system after running a Win 7 - > 10 upgrade install that lasted about 6 years. About the mos non typical thing I have installed are Wacom Cintiq Tablet drivers, Display CAL, and Teamviewer 12. Otherwise its Kasperky's antivirus and Steam games.
I am using the latest build of Mod Organizer 2 pulled off of Nexus here under the Skyrim SE listing. I hope this info can somehow help you out as I can't be the only person having this issue.
Is there a way to control whether the BSA extract overwrites on filename collision? Since loose files win on a collision when the game is loading, I want to make sure if I or a patch has edited a loose file, and I later extract a BSA that has a collision file, I don't blow away the edit with the original found in the BSA.
Using MO2, I just noticed. I had already extracted some BSAs by targeting them directly or through their mod install folder. I then figured I would just do the whole mods folder, and the BSAs already processed and stored in the optional folder were processed again. Can we have an option to ignore BSAs in an optional subfolder please?
***Ninja Edit because I misread the output window***
