Update 1.3 - Added .ini for Skypatcher to assign her voicetype. - Added a failsafe dialogue option to set her voicetype in case it gets reset to default.
If using either SKSE or Skypatcher, her new voicetype will be auto-assigned regardless if she is overwritten by other mods (eg. NPC appearance mods). Thanks to Muol for the Skypatcher patch!
Be sure to load UniqueAela.esp high in your load order so anything else affecting Aela overwrites it!~
If not using either SKSE or Skypatcher, you will still need to manually patch it if using any Aela modifing mods. See compatibility section on the main page for more info.
I would really like to, but it's alot of work and Bethesda does not make it easy to track down all their voice lines! XD but when I have time, I'll keep working on it! It'll probably be reeeeally slow going tho~
Only do it when you feel like it, when you have time, and if you really like doing.
Without even realizing it, I spent 13 years on this site. Yesterday I was testing the Naruto mod for the Legendary Edition (in 2014). Now look at where we are today.
Currently working on setting up my game so I can actually start a playthrough and test my mods properly, but I've added it to the to-do list! Might be a while, but it should get done eventually! XD
Wow, she is sounding MUCH better than in the previous video, still a little bit robotic in some sentences but it shoulb be expectet from AI. I am gonna try to use this, don't know if I will manage to disasociate her from the original voice but I will certaintly try since, as you say in the description, the same voice for NPCs over and over gets old quick.
I think I'd still like to re-record a few lines that don't sound quite right to me, but I think I need a break first. I might actually get my game setup and start playing so I can actually test things out in game! I'm sure I'll find plenty of lines to touch up when I do tho XD
And ya, for me when I hear her default voice all I can think of is the captain from the into "Forget the list, this one goes to the block! >:O" or Adrianne ""I don't claim to be the best blacksmith in Whiterun..."
This is great! I'll be honest, I honestly expected to immediately uninstall after testing, but it actually sounded really good! I had to double check that I'd installed it correctly because it sounded so realistic.
I'm torn on my thoughts on AI, but I think individuals making well-done free stuff for other people is a great use of it. 😅
That aside, a patch for More To Say would be greatly appreciated. I think there's only like one dialogue she has in it.
Annd done~ That was a nice easy one, only 17 lines! :) And the dialogue was so nice and organized per-character! Ah, I wish Bethesda dialogue quests were as easy to find whos saying what. XD
Why?! I have nothing against the lovely voice actors of Skyrim! But when Bob sounds like Tom who sounds like Joe... MaH ImErZiOn. Or something. The voice actors are great, but I wanted to give some of my favorite characters a voice just for them! Cause they deserve to be their own people. :)

The characters are computer generated things in a game and AI generated voices are not "chat bots." Their images are digital, why not their voices, too? That's a rhetorical question. No reason for it not to be that way.
As the author notes, or at least implies, potentially every character in Skyrim could have its own unique voice. And not because, as the author also notes, the voice actors are lousy (OK, a couple of them are), but because it gets old hearing the same voice re-used over and over.
In my opinion, opposition to stuff like this is grounded in nothing more than "AI scary."
My opposition is grounded in "AI sounds bad", nothing more. Or to be more precise, AI not sounding like a human. "Chat bot" was referring to how the AI voice sounds, not the contents of what she's saying.
Voice lines recorded by humans are "digital" just as much as video game characters created by humans. Being digital has nothing to do with AI.
I am not opposed to Skyrim characters having more voice variety, only to them sounding like machines.
I used to think AI voices sounded terrible too. Most still do imo, Mimic and melo just sound so unnatural still. But XTTSv2 to me sounds like suuuch an improvement over them. It's definitely still far from perfect, but I'll take the trade off. Playing with AI followers with CHIM, always having dynamic dialogue to say has been a gamechanger. Being able to add my own dialogue to my mods has opened so many possibilities.
But to each their own. You play the game however you find it most fun. :)
If you think it has to sound perfect, that's you. I like the potential to add variety to the pool of NPC voices, so it does not have to sound perfect for me. I would rather have every NPC have a unique albeit less-than-perfect AI voice than have every fifth NPC sound exactly the same.
I'm going to stick with opposition comes from "AI scary" and people can and probably will deny it. There is no reason to argue that point.
If you're going to split hairs about the word "digital,:" let's go with "digitally generated."
Oooooh boy. How much is this going to corrupt my innocence?! I'll take a look, but no guarantees. From a technical standpoint, it's really hard to make the AI express emotion, soo.. We'll see.
Edit: Took a look, looks easy enough. I'll add it to the list! Also, happy to say I'm not corrupted. Was much more on the "cute extra dialogue" side then the "what kind of noise is THAT?!" side then I expected~
Finally, dooonnne! I should have just started with this one. Put FDE on hold since it's huuuge and taking forever, this one was much smaller and easy to finish! :)
Let me know if I missed anything, or if anything sounds completely out of context or off for whatever reason~

New vid, also has some extra dialogue from FDE. I accidently interrupted her when I first started the chat.. opps, sorry.
