thanks. Another armor mod author Furexarot helped me point out the problem was because blender export setting messed up the nif nodes. I appreciate you tried helping me as best as you could.
Thanks for the mod, I'd like to see a optional file if you can where the helmet visor is fully blacked out. I do remember in game if I'm not wrong the helmets were darkened and you couldn't see your eyes. It's been some time since I last played though
Probably because runescape is stylized. Skyrim is kind of realistic-visual leaning, so people face is visible inside the helmet, i guess? Best I can do is make the helmet block the head mesh too so the inside is void.
I see, thanks for this great mod. How's the performance with the Faster HDT SMP? I've been randomly getting crashes with it so I don't go out of my way to use it and if I do then I pick ones where the hdt is like a cloak so I can just not wear it. For this mod though I can't unequip the part with hdt which is the skirt part but this is so good I'll play with this even if I still get the crashes. Although maybe in a couple updates could I ask for a non-hdt patch if it's not a lot of work to do. I understand it's a lot to ask for since updating 2 versions, one with hdt-smp and one without is annoying.
Technical question here I'm pretty interested what you need to do in order to if you were to make the helmet block the head mesh. There's a mod I'll link called Closed Helmets and in this mod a lot of the vanilla helmets looks like it's darkened but you can still see the face if you have the proper lighting in it. Would this mod and the way you're describing how to do it be the same method?
1. Unless you are on a potato pc, FSMP performance is nearly non noticeable in regular use. You might wanna re check a lot of thing: fsmp and it's requirements + optimization options, also your load order and skyrim settings. It sound like, to me, you don't have a healthy mod list. Best spend time fix it now than endure the whole thing. 2. Your screenshot is too dark I can't see anything. But nonetheless the way to block the head mesh is to open sseedit/CK and click on armor records, choose and open the helmet info panel, then click on the bodypart you want the helmet to block (by my design it would block "hair". "ear", "circlet", you want it to also block "head")
Ahhh! Runescape! It's been a LONG time since I played that last..... maybe I'll try to get back into it again someday. That said, I think it looks great! Great Job!
