Loving this mod! my only problem is the gust of wind spell and trying to take off from the ground it seems like it works then my character puts away the glider and just stands in the air with the spell still going until it is gone and he falls down. Works great for gliding down from high areas though just fine.
Glad to see it! First I've heard of that issue. To ensure there's no confusion, to properly use Tarhiel's Gale, cast it, jump, then immediately activate the paraglider.
I wonder if maybe in your game, your character just doesn't have the hops it takes to make it happen. If you want to rule out any possibility of that or user error, you can try Skyrim's Paraglider - ONE instead, where Tarhiel's Gale will jump for you at a set height promised to clear the threshold for take-off. It also dynamically equips a lighter version called "Kyne's Wind" only while gliding that provides a shorter, easier to navigate with, gust of wind. Keep in mind, unless you toggle off Glide Costs (by holding shift while clicking on the glider), there will be a 30-minute cooldown on Tarhiel's Gale after each use. Kyne's Wind is not limited in this way. Something to consider anyways.
Yes, but you need to clean install paraglider. Since you already completed the quest, I'd just install the no quest version. If you don't, I think you'll need to do the quest again.
Paraglider more fixes Likely compatible, but untested. However, completely irrelevant if you choose the no quest version I'm recommending.

Paraglider commanlib NG version: Sure, if you're a fan of less responsive deployment. If it's for AE compatibility, I strongly recommend you go with Skyrim's Paraglider Anniversary Edition Update instead.
Clean install instructions: 1. Load your current save, ditch your glider, save, and quit to desktop. 2. Untick all things paraglider in your mod organizers load order. 3. Load your CURRENT save. Ignore warning (if any) about the missing mods. 4. Save game within an interior cell (Indoors) and quit to desktop. 5. Tick Skyrim's Paraglider - ZERO and its requirements in your mod organizers load order. 6. Load your last save, reacquire Paraglider, and enjoy!
Thank you for explanation. Is this mod also fix issue with landing with paraglider makes my character die? In game my character is female high elf vampire(I also use better vampire and better vampire lords)
Is it possible to make that mod work with Open Animation Replacer? I'm planning third-party mod pack and it uses OAR for everything, but after installing this mod and running nemesis I got a paraglider in the game but activating it in a jump does nothing. I'm on Skyrim SE rn.
I have all requirements, followed the guide to activate it and the mod still doesn't work? Also i double check the box on nemesis and it's ticked. Not sure why the mod doesn't work for me
Yes i have all the requirements. Nemesis says "paraglider (null) but i have it ticked anyway. I did the quest too and even tried console commanding the powers but nothing worked
This still didn't work. I've got every mod requirements installed. In nemesis it was already ticked and launched but I keep relaunching it. And nothing works. I have it crafted and yet still nothing.
why no one tells what key to press activate paraglizer?? literrally there is no page that says it.. and i unistalled all jump mods but still cant activate paraglider, i have been struggling with this for 4 hours
The original and requirement for this mod does definitely state how to activate the glider. To activate the paraglider, press the Skyrim activate key while in the air. On keyboard, the default key for activate is E.
Thanks for the mod but there's this trail though I installed non-trail version of the original mod. And it stays around my character's hands even after landing.
Never heard of that before. If you hadn't installed contrails there should be no contrails. Is it possible that you have more than one installation of the original mod that may be adding it?
As for the contrails never ending, if you had paraglider installed once before on the same save, it may be worth cleaning your save: 1. 5. Optional but recommended (Seriously feel free to skip this step if it's too overwhelming): - Open ReSaver from FallrimTools. - Load your last save. - Clean>"Remove unattached instances". - Clean>"Remove undefined elements". - Save. 6. Tick Skyrim's Paraglider - ZERO and its requirements in your mod organizers load order. 7. Load your last save, reacquire Paraglider, and enjoy!
Hi this mod is so great!! Thanks a bunch The previous version 2 seemed to work much better with First Person Paraglider, and CGO Stripped and TDM. Now the arms only move up in 1st person, no paraglider is visible. Hope you can maybe patch it :-) then both 1st and 3rd will be the same, would be great! thx again!!
I have no interest in 1st person myself. I've moved on to another project. SPZ and SPO have been cooked and served. For now.
If the previous version 2.1 works better for you, you're okay to stick with it. The 3.0 update primarily benefits new users. You seem like a seasoned paraglider user so you wouldn't likely benefit from reduced player induced flappy arms. If you have paraglider working, the possible new game script failure wouldn't affect you either.
since this seems to be the place for all things paraglider related: im getting an odd bug where i can fly for maybe 6 ish seconds before my chararcter puts the glider away. i can reactivate it, but, its never a steady always-out descent, and when i just glide directly down, its like i touch down on the air on an invisible floor. what might be causing this?
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall the issue being something related to occlusion. I tried to do a quick search for it but as you may too have realized, search engines are terrible these days. It's talked about buried somewhere online; I assure you. So, rest easy that it's nothing to do with Paraglider outside of the fact that Skyrim never intended for you to glide through her skies.
I'll try to provide simplified explanation for this. If this is happening, the player is likely landing on an old invisible cell box before a new cell has loaded. As the new cell loads, the old cell box is removed, and the player falls. This likely happens due to either a poorly optimized mod list one might be playing on, the lack of their computers ability to process that list, or the combination of both. Another possible explanation is terribly places collision boxes that far exceed the dimensions of the visual object in game. Potential solutions: 1. Ensure hardware meets or (preferably) exceeds the chosen mod lists minimum requirements. 2. Try another mod list (which hardware meets requirements) as it may come down to problems specific with a particular list.
If solution 2 fixes the issue, please report the suspect list which may not be compatible. Thanks and good luck!
You're welcome! I haven't any interest in doing so. The latest paraglider releases are intended to mark the end of the project. If I ever decide it's worth updating again, I'll look into it. Happy gliding ✌️🪂

Any chance of an ESLed version?
