Sonia's face is black. This probably isn't an issue of this mod but please do share if you know of any way to fix it. Edit: fixed it by completely uninstalling the mod, reinstalling and sending the esp to the bottom of load order.
A great mod with great models, better than the ones from Animated Armory. I wish you guys could all work together to improve said models and swap them for CC's style and/or Dralkkin's Castlevania mod style. 🤔
Let me start with positives before going into my current issue. The whip models look great and I absolutely appreciate this mod existing. Thank you very much, xzax. Now to the problem at hand. At this time I have installed this mod and did a quick play test. The weapon itself moves as intended. However, no physical representation of the whip is seen aka the chain portion. I don't understand why this is happening and it very well may be due to misplaced load order. If there is any suggestions and/or tips to fix this issue then by all means let me know. Thank you all in advance and stay safe out there.
This mod is Miraak's Sword modification and use animation, physical representation from that. If you like real physic i advice "The Animated Armoury mod".
You need to add the whip enchantment to the cross before it will play the whip animation effect. Otherwise it will just behave like a sword.
In my opinion this seems to be the better way of implementing whips into the game compared to Animated Armoury. In AA, whip animations are well known to break, which is one reason why many add-ons to AA remove them altogether. In my testing, the animated effect with the combat cross does not break under the same conditions that would break the whip animations in AA (such as switching between equip sets). Pretty satisfied with this mod.
hello sorry to disturb you, I wanted to ask you if it would be possible to convert your mod of combat cross for xbox by one of the modders of the platform?
Are you able to swap the spiral chain animation for a model with physics? Or is it to much to have the chain spiraling about as the weapon point reaches its point of contact at crosshairs like a whip? In VR the Hand holds it at the low end of the handle, adjustable?
Absolutely adore this mod, one of my favourite unique weapons. I do have to ask, just for my build's theming sake, would it be possible to make a Bound Combat Cross? As in, a spell to summon a Combat Cross with the same visual aesthetics of the Bound Sword/Dagger/Bow, etc?
I fixed it. If anyone else runs into this issue, all I did was use Nexus Mod Manager to disable, then uninstall the mod. Then I reinstalled and re-enabled it.
I'm not positive that the animations will work on console although I don't see why they won't but I know for a fact the ranged melee attack will work because there are a couple of mods on console that do that already
I ported this over to the Xbox One for my personal use and it worked fine on console once I removed the NPC's and replaced them with chests containing the items they sold. For some reason the NPC's would crash the xbox and I could never figure out why. If the author of this mod allows it I will gladly publish the mod on Bethesda.net with full credits and attempt to fix the npc crash issue using the latest version. However, I won't do anything without Xzax's blessing.
Edit: I managed to fix the npc issue (had to manually add facegen data to the archive) so the mod now works flawlessly on xbox. The only irritant is that each whip/chain style would have to be released as a separate mod.
Has Xzax’s gotten back to you in regards to his “blessings”? We just got the Dark Lord’s Fortress mod ported over to Xbox One. We just need a whip mod now.

I have no idea what the cause would be.
Could I possibly force their spawn with a console command and their NPC ID?
