Changelogs
I love COTN - Morthal and I always wanted a player home in Morthal, so from this desire and the help of several tutorial videos I was finally able to turn this into reality. This is a very simple mod, intended mostly for roleplay purposes as I did my best to stay close to JPSteel2 original style, so it doesn't feature crafting stations, however there are a few things:

Features
  • A cooking station.
  • A bookshelf with capacity to store and display up to 54 books.
  • Two beds, one for you and another for a follower.
  • Several safe containers.
  • A Shrine of Talos.

Location
You will find the New Moon Cottage in Morthal, near Falion's House. The door is locked and you will need a key to get in.

How to Get

The key is inside a satchel in Movarth's Lair, near the hole with several bodies. The idea is that the cottage belonged to one the deceased nords found there. Or you can just add "New Moon Cottage Key" to your inventory with console.

Additional details
I made no edits to the original navmesh, the house is surrounded by a collision box set as navcut to make sure NPCs won't try to walk over it. It has it's own location with the proper keywords for house locations, so you can get the "well rested" bonus, however the message doesn't show up for reasons unknown to me. Followers will walk and interact with objects in the house, and mods like "Settling of Squad", "My Home is Your Home"  or "Nether Follower's Framework" can be used to assign a follower to this house.
