Should I give a key to my spouse in order for her to walk free or it is not necesary?

I liked it so much. Just a question: Is there any way to install this mod only in one or two houses? Thank you.

I just started building my house and thought it was extremely weird that there were no bedroom doors. I was hoping this mod would add them, but I don't see any doors or the option to build them. Does it not work on an house in progress? If so, how do I get the doors?

The doors do not need to be built separately. They are included in the final build of the main hall, so they should be immediately visible once you can enter the main hall (after you've put the roof on). Just to be clear, this places doors for the bedroom that's a part of the main hall, not the one that's built separately.

But it won't update on an already built main hall? Is there some console trickery I can do to re-build the main hall to get your doors?

Oh, it should update even when you've built the main hall. That's what I've done on my main character, and it's worked in testing. If they don't show up for you something strange is going on.

I already added doors to my Winstad House with my own new mod, Tranquil Winstad. But I would love locking exterior doors! Can you make a version with just the exterior doors? Also, do the doors in the back also require keys too? How many keys can we make? Do our housecarls and spouses and children need one?

-I'll try to make a version with just the locking doors, but it'll probably take some time.
-The doors in the back do not currently require keys.
-You can make as many keys as you want, it takes one Corundum ingot per key. You have to craft them at the workbench you use to build your house.
-Housecarls, spouses and children will definitely be able to enter/leave as long as one door is open. From what I've looked up they should also be able to enter if the door is locked and they have a key, but I haven't tested it in-game.

Cool, thanks for getting back to me. Perhaps the back doors should be locked too? Harder to do I know because there are different combinations. But in any case, I thank you for doing this. As someone that knows what a pain these houses are, I appreciate your work.
