About this mod
A simple refresh of the Ratway in Riftern with up to 8K textures in the vanilla style! With support for parallax and complex parallax (choose using the FOMOD).

- FAQ
- "The textures look wobbly" - Most likely due to a mod like Skyrim 202X adding parallax to the surfaces. Download the parallax textures, which will fix the issue (and make the mod look better, as parallax is excellent!)
- Compatibility
Since this is a re-texture mod, make sure you load this mod below/after any conflicting mods. It will also not take up an ESP slot as it only contains texture files.
- Installation
- MO2 - Use the "download with manager" download option, then use the FOMOD to pick the desired edition.
- Vortex - Use the "download with manager" download option, then use the FOMOD to pick the desired edition.
- Direct Install - Use the "Manual Download" option on the resolution you desire, then copy the edition you would like (each edition will look like "XX - Edition name" ) into Skyrim Special Edition\Data.
- Performance / Memory recommendations
2K Main textures + 1K Parallax textures ~ 3GB of GPU VRAM recommended
4K Main textures + 2K Parallax textures ~ 6GB of GPU VRAM recommended
8K Main textures + 4K Parallax textures ~ 12GB+ of GPU VRAM recommended (recommended for screenshots but not gameplay)
- Complex Parallax (beta)
For complex parallax to work, two things are required.
- Complex parallax needs to be enabled on the Skyrim engine using either ENB or CS (the specifics of this can be found below *)
- Complex parallax meshes need to be built, which can be done by using a tool such as ParallaxGen ("add --ignore-parallax in the arguments to avoid parallax bug" - hakasapl said in Nordic Stonewalls) or by using meshes with the support already built in.

- Parallax
For non-complex parallax to work, less needs to be done; ensure that you have parallax-enabled meshes (Skyrim 202X is a great start) and either an ENB or Community Shaders.
