If you use USMP with the AI Overhaul Patch, then Loot will set the second one as priority over this mod .esp, causing the Bijin NPCs faces to be overwritten.
It worked for me if I left the order of the .esps as follows:

    USMP - AI Overhaul patch.esp
    Bijin AIO.esp
Bijin AIO USSEP KS SMP Hair.esp

If you have the same problem as me or something similar, just leave Bijin AIO USSEP KS SMP Hair.esp as priority in .esp order, that's how I solved my problem.

About the AI Overhaul Patch, just use Synthesis, search in Git Repository for AIOverhaulPatcher and run the tool, and then put the generated esp in the load order.

It can work alongside SPID however if you have SPID mods that change the outfits of any of the Bijin characters, the SPID mod outfit will take precedence over the wig.

this is strange, whenever I enabled this mod NPC reverted back to their vanilla face with vanilla hair.
    - Bijin Redux
    - Bijin AIO
    - Bijin Salt and Wind

in Easy NPC also having this formID error.

after cleaned up my Bijin installations and install them again it's working properly now.
    - Bijin AIO SE for USSEP
    - Bijin Redux
    - Bijin Redux Patches

    - Bijin KS SMP Hair - this mod.
    - Salt and Wind
    - Fixed Scar for Enb

for some unknown reason face meshes messed up again with redux on, sigh.

Redux probably isn't compatible since it messes with the Bijin NPC records. Not planning on making a patch currently but it shouldn't be too hard and I can add it to the files if someone makes it.

some of the KS hairs are in there like Lydia'a Dawn hair

I don't plan on making any changes since I haven't touched this in a while. If it bothers you, you can remove her hair in the creation kit with the guide on the mod page. Just delete her new outfit. I'm not planning on making any modifications with other hair mods, I wanted to keep it simple so some of the hairs might not match super well since I just used the one hair mod. Permissions are open and you can use the guide to make your own version with whatever hairs you want if you want to.

Would it be possible to make this compatible with bijin redux? If not, will changing the master from bijin AiO to the bigin redux esp work? Also, will removing the anniversary edition master files break this mod? VR doesn't come with those files unfortunately - and they're extremely janky in VR when copied over from the AE version.

I currently use it in VR and it works just fine. Not sure about redux but I think the anniversary edition files are only a requirement due to USSEP

If you open the console and select the NPC, you should be able to use 'resetinventory' which should give them back their original default outfit which includes the hair.

So here's an interesting question: I've just finished a complete reinstall of Skyrim AE and included most of the 3 Bijin mods; I didn't use the AiO or each module and instead did each individual NPC replacer, which left me with about 30 ESPs that put me way over the plugin limit. To circumvent this, I merged them all together into one file (gotta love outdated mods pulling crap like that). If I wanted to apply this mod, would I just have to follow your replacement tutorial or is there something you'd have to do? I've never done any real modding except for adding them to my game.

Why wouldn't you just use the AiO version? It's just a plugin replacer for the 3 individual mods. You turn off their individual esp's and leave on the esp for the AiO so you have fewer plugins while still getting all of the new faces.

awesome - I was literally ranting a few hours ago in the dint99 discord about why there weren't more NPC replacers that used SMP hair physics. Much appreciated, and looking forward to more of these - if you're taking requests, I have loads of them!

I'll be doing Pandorables and Kalilies next. Only planning to do those for now since it takes a while to match the wigs and those are the only replacers I use at the moment.

that's fair enough - if you're ever inclined to check out sisterhood of dibella, that would be amazing too.

FYO - Pandorables has an SMP hair mod already (which I haven't actually used yet) - haven't found anything for Kaillies.

If you're able to make a guide for your process in making these, the community as a whole would be super grateful - to say nothing of me personally!

I can definitely make a guide, it's not too difficult once you get the process down. Thanks so much for pointing out the Pandorables mod, looks like they used the same method I did. I'll probably still do their Dawnguard and Dragonborn overhauls in the future along with Kalilies.

I wrote up the full process for how to create the new outfits for each NPC using the creation kit as well as how to view the wigs in the mod description, good luck!

Hey, great mod! Could you possibly add a facegen files to the mod? It causes blackface to the characters when using easynpc patcher

I'm not sure how this would be causing that bug because this mod doesn't affect NPC faces or even their default hair. It only changes their outfits.

charlesisafish I was thinking the same when easynpc warned me about this can happen, a similar mod that adds physics to Bijin mods have facegen files with it but they changed hairs for many npcs to different. I will try to generate facegens in ck and run easynpc again to see if that's on me. Anyways, thanks for the mod!

I've been thinking of adding a SPID file option as well to overwrite any mods that potentially change NPC outfits but I haven't gotten around to it yet

I would wait until the update with auto-equipped equipment distribution gets stable so it won't mess up people distributed outfits but if you want i can send you the spid ini file with outfit distribution.

Hello, thanks for the great mod, nice to see the hairs waves.

But, I got a little interesting problem, the mod works nicely on all 3 mods, Bijin NPCs, Bijin Warmaidens and Bijin Wives, but it made all of these Bijin ladies that were still using their default clothes now naked, the other Bijins that i have gave different outfits shows normally as they should.

Did I do something wrong? my Ostim SA engine been running extra heavy right now after seeing all my lovers walking around naked

EDIT: NVM, my mistake haven't read the incompatibilities section. Apparently if I put a different outfit to them then everything goes back, but no wavy hairs, i guess i have to choose between stiff  hair with clothes or wavy hair but naked, easy choice!

Finding the same with the AIO version - SMP hair but the clothes/armor is not worn, and not in their inventory either.
To fix - needs console - open console while facing one of the naked npc's - click on them - their details should appear in the console
      type disable (they will disappear)
type enable - close the console and they will appear, dressed and with SMP hair
Starting a new game with the mod installed should be ok.

Yep, I was able to create this and it's caused by adding it to an existing save. I'll add a note to the mod page.

I've added the mod to an existing save because I am already halfway on the main quest and done all the factions. The console trick from Tetrol88 does the trick, its now all good. All I can say is: Great mod!

ps. Yep might be best to add this warning as you said to avoid same question before it can be fixed
