Does the no level list version require the main mod, or is it stand-alone?

Hail and well met. Does this mod need an update sine the stinking Paid mod Update? Been checking my mods that are at least 4 years old or older since i am NOT a modder od any kind.

Nice mod, but I don't understand why the enchantment can't be put on boots...

      Drake,

thank you for this. I've added it and removed this standalone mod. The effect was removed from my armour, which is great, however, I now find myself with the problem reported on this page of still having the water walking effect on me, despite it not being on my armour. I removed the armour just in case to no avail. Did you ever encounter this and a fix for it, please?

Edit: I've tried deactivating the DLC mod, reactivating this mod, going back in and removing all clothing because the items I had the effect on still don't show it any longer and that didn't help. I then uninstalled this mod entirely and went back in. No change. I've also tried dispelling and/or removing the spell ID but it doesn't appear to be a spell. And when I try that with the IDs for the enchantment or magical effect, the command fails.

So I'm going to reactivate the DLC mod but I'm going to have to TCL for underwater unless someone has a better idea. :(

      Cheers.

It is generally a bad idea to uninstall mods during a playthrough, sometimes it works sometimes it irrevocably breaks things :S

Here's a potential fix if you still have a save from before removing the mod:
      1) Reactivate this mod
      2) Load a save from before you uninstalled it
      3) Remove the ring
      4) Save
      5) Deactivate the mod
      and go from there

When I remove the piece enchanted with waterwalking, my character still wants to walk on water. I've tried reloading, equipping a different piece of equipment, uninstalling the mod, and waiting 24 hours after all of that, but I'm still walking on the surface. Anyone else have this issue? I can't get underwater for a quest.

    Hello Kelsenellenelvian

First I want thank you for porting EzDC’s “Waterwalking Ring” mod.
I recently checked all my mods for old Form Version.
Sadly I found out that this mod of yours still uses Form 43 (Odlrim) instead of Form 44 (SSE).
I see you are still active and I hope you can fix this, would be very nice.
Btw: I use "No leveled lists version", I don’t know if that wrong form version problem also applies to the "Main Ring Mod" version.

You can easily fix it yourself.
Just open CK (through your mod organiser), click on the Folder icon to load your mods, find this mod and doubleclick to select it, set it as active file, click OK, after it's loaded click SAVE Icon and close CK. You're done.

Or rather than a few thousand of us doing that the mod writers could just save them in the proper SE form.

I know, I know... complaint, complaint... I use Vortex. When I am installing new "to me" mods, I check the plugin section to make sure that everything is working correctly. In this case, I am getting an "incompatible plugin" message. The Message says "This plugin was created for the original Skyrim and may be incompatible with Skyrim Special Edition. This can cause unforseen problems during gameplay." This is a closer for me and therefore the mod goes and I cannot endorse it. Bummer!

open the creation kit or download the Bethesda launcher and download the ck in there. if you can't figure it out, you can google it.
then open the ck within vortex. again, google or youtube how to do it. then click file > data > double click the box in front of the mod > then set as active file > then ok. after is opens, just save it and close the ck.
I don't use vortex, so you have to find out what happens to the file.
you have to do this to update the mod.

Nothing should happen to the file, it will simply update the existing ESP.

Hi Kel. I converted this to form 44 with the CK. Can I make an updated page for it or do I have to get permission from EzDC first? He hasn't been active since last year. Not sure if converting it counts as modifying or not. Thanks.
