I'm using the vortex mod manager to install this mod, but for some reason, it isn't working when I enable it. Anyone know how to fix this?

How you even use this mod? I wish you could have written a better explanation on how to use it, for everyone.

What body textures goes well with these? I tried "Women of Skyrim" (Oldrim) and "SOS" (hairless) like HappyToGoodJob said, but the seams are really bad.

Oddly enough, this doesn't seem to work with Skyrim VR. While the game functions, it adds weird scanlines as a side-effect.

So I tried this mod with CBBE and it asked me if i wanted to rewrite files already changed by CBBE, so I hit yes. I liked the face on my character, but the color mismatch was too great with the bodies. So I uninstalled. Now all the NPC characters look hideous. It's been a while since I've played skyrim, so I don't remember what the models look like exactly, but as far as i can tell they're a lot worse now. Weird blocky mouth animations some weird clipping. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling CBBE, doesn't work. It brings my face back, but the NPCs still look awful. No idea how to fix this.

Update: I couldn't find any solution, no matter what I did I couldn't get back CBBE facepack to work. Had to do an entire reinstall of skyrim, and it's still not working. Only about half the female NPCs are fixed after a full reinstall.

What on earth did this mod do to my game?

You guys made it sound so dramatic.

First, look at the file content. They are just mesh and texture replacers. They would not write anything into your game. In fact, the game has no awareness of mesh/texture mods (but will CTD if you either miss them or give wrong file types). So whether you have 0 or 100 texture replacement, the game goes on the same way.

This is my guess on why C1ncinnatus had so much troubles:

      - Manual install? Deleting a replacer mod who previously overwrote some files would leave a void, need to fill back in with a fresh install of CBBE. You need a mod manager. MO2 is what I recommend. Stay away from NMM.

      - Proper reinstalling CBBE would populate old missing files.

      - Deleting game and reinstall wouldn't do anything to you because it would leave the Data folder intact.

      - The messed up faces may have been caused by entirely different mods that we may not be aware of.
