Things to do: Make the male collar tighter. Maybe higher poly death hounds, unless Pieter82 or someone else makes one. Dog followers outfiting system similar to fallout 4's dogmeat. I know how to edit meshes, but need to figure out how to add "edit inventory" to dog followers.
could not make it work, it always shows an empy image, i can equipt it but does not show anything.
It conflics with this mod - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/116399 -, no matter the load order, the only way to make this mod work its to disable it.
hey i tried this mod, i wore the collar, there was no graphic model on the character. there was one in the 3-d window though. i tried to put the collar on a NPC to see if it only affected the character, but it doesnt show up on the NPC either, its invisible.
I just downloaded and install as is. Checked in game again. All the collars are working for me, both male and female works. Either you deleted the mesh from this mod when you installed it or whatever method you are using to install mods. Is not installing the mod properly, because the mod works on my end.
thanks for testing that i ll give it a new try in the game.
i was playing a female character but then i tried to make a male npc wear it, there was no graphic.
i have this one mod that edits death hounds, maybe i should try and disable it.. theres things i could try to make it work, maybe do a new game , then just put your mod in there , and see if the graphics show up. thats always a good way to know..
looks good in the screenshots, there was this other person if i recall who made a death hound collar mod, but there was this aweful clipping on the neck.. it was unbearable.. i am hoping that this is not that mod, i dont see any clipping on the chin of the female, but if she turns her head, how the ai has the character randomly move sometimes, then her chin might hit that top of the collar, its going to look kind of awful.
but ill try it. i hope it works.
Update : 1 .I just total tested this .. this mod Works.. the problem is on my side. i must have incompatible mods that are interfering. 2. clipping, the male head turn, downward to the side or side, his chin clips into the collar 3. clipping, the female head turn, most of the degrees and angles look well, not much clipping, but she looks directly down south, the tip of the collar penetrates into her neck..
i really want to use death hound collars in my game, i think they would be great for some NPCs and thralls. and their real cheap E-Z to get. but if we could reduce the clipping issues that would be great. Thanks.
and 1 other thing : i tried that pick pocket mod. and get one from a death hound but the collar was not removed on the appearance. i was using Kanjs - Death Hound Animated
The male collar clips because bethesda made terribly short and fat necked bone head male characters. Literally pisses me off making anything for male characters. I have zero interest in editing the male collar until I find a better male model replacer.
Female collar is better, because I spent most of my time working on females. Thank you for noticing.
Your head rotation would be restricted if you would to wear such a collar. This collar is more in line of torture device with sharp edges thats suppose to stab your head. So it is in your best interest to not rotate your head. That's how long neck tight sharp ironcladded collars work. This something you put on slaves not some meek prisoner collar.
"Comaptible with texture replacer" kanjis mod is animated death hound aka animated death hound model replacer not just texture. Obviously it does not work with their mod. Look in this mod file and you can see that we edit the same death hound model. (I might make a patch for their mod later).
