Better Dartwings replaces Skyrim's dragonfly mesh and textures with more detailed and realistic ones.
Although the meshes are considerably more detailed than the originals, I've not noticed any performance hit from using them. They weight in at about 150kb each. That's the size of a detailed plant mesh. The mod's textures are 2k and so shouldn't eat all your vram. 1k and 512 textures are available as optional files downloads. I'm also using Picta Series A Critters Life (which I recommend) which adds additional spawns.
When in flight, the dragonflies will use whichever wing textures you have installed. As these are so blurry in flight, even the vanilla ones look fine.

The main body mesh for this mod was created by 7SkyArtist and is used in accordance with the Creative Commons Attribution License. I've edited, reduced the poly count and altered 7SkyArtist's mesh for use in Skyrim SE. I've recoloured the textures to fit with Skyrim's classes of Dartwing.
