This mod requires Immersive Equipment Displays(IED) to work. IED will create displays on your character with the favorited weapons and unequipped weapons for NPCs. If you don't like this feature and wish to have a "vanilla" experience, you can install the mod and disable the displays using the in-game menu.
Open the in-game menu (default key is Backspace) and navigate to View>Display Manager>View>Equipment Slots (if it isn't opened already). Then select Global tab and "Player" (then do the same for NPC later) and toggle "Sync":

The mod seems to work fine, but the problem is that the item list windows remain and hide a lot of animation (I use Dear Diary and the windows aren't transparent). Would it be possible to remove those windows while the animation is running?
Really really really solid mod but ive just hit the stump with a problem that made me uninstall it, i thought it was an issue with v1.2 but even reproduced on 1.1 i have a large modlist and i run skyrim rouls RE and i thought it could be a conflict with that but now i narrowed it down to animations of some sort basically any time ive selected an item and finally got to the part to actually select the soul gem - my character begins the animation to place the soul gem down but as soon as that happens everything breaks - my character immeditaley leaves the enchanting table and i CANNOT walk, open menu, or further interact with any other item or crafting station. the only workaround for this was to qqq in the console not even the quick save/load keys worked. Sorry i know it sounds like im complaining but im really not i promise, ive been using this mod for the better part of a year now and i think its flawless im jus leaving this here incase someone has experienced this and is lost.
nevermind! please ignore what i said it was not an issue with this mod, if anyone comes across this hope this helps: Allegdley its an issue with skyrim climb when u run it with skyrim souls RE -> it breaks animations on the enchanting table when u hit space to rename your item (i think skyclimb tries to make ur character jump over the table) workarounds are to either change the space keybind of skyclimb to something else , disable skyclimb when using enchanting (specially if ur gon hit space bar to rename an item), and the console command "tai" which is a toggle for all animations (though i think this will disable the visual functionality of this mod as well Hope this helps anyone whose stuck
I had this issue as well!! Ill have to try and see if this works for me too. I still cant get the workbench or weapons sharpener to work. Not sure what the issue is. Maybe Edge UI??
One of the weirdest bugs of Skyclimb, easily resolved by assigning a key like right shift to Skyclimb. In any case, make sure to install Skyparkour as well. It vastly improves Skyclimb in almost every aspect...
For some reason the glow when enchanting weapons isn't present in the weapon once enchanted unless you equip it. Usually in inventory you can see the enchantment glow color based off said enchantment, but I can't with your mod other than that the mod works great.
You mean when sharpening an enchanted weapon? This mod doesn't affect weapons in any way, it just creates displays based on the weapons or armors selected in the crafting menu.
no like in the inventory or i guess the ui display of the weapon when enchanting an item when i equip it, its glowing but in the inventory when i enchant it its not i’ll try to post a picture so you can see what i mean
I've been using this with Enderal and it seems compatible so far save for a small issue with the dismantle function at the smelter (which I assume would be present with other mods introducing that function as well): When using it, my character stays still for a while as if an animation should been playing which does not; after a while the function still works though.
Whenever I attempt to download this mod with NMM, it throws some exception mid-activation. It only says in the little window that "an error occurred," and it doesn't elaborate. I have all the pre-reqs installed. I'm on 1.6.1170 of Skyrim: AE. I don't understand what's going on, and I seriously doubt it's actually a problem with this mod, because that would be really strange. Nobody else seems to be having this problem, either, so I think it's user error or something on my part.
I tried to use Vortex briefly, but frankly, it was confusing and scary to navigate, so I stopped and went back into NMM.
I disables all my antivirus and executed NMM as an administrator, and it had the same result.
I tried to install the mod manually, but I think I screwed something up. Now, I'm frantically trying to save my load order. ;-;
Does anyone understand what's happening? I'm very confused...
EDIT (2025/01/03): I did manage to salvage my load order after doing a full reinstall of all my mods and fiddling around a bit, luckily!
Nice Mod <3 I saw a mod somewhere on Patreon years ago. Unfortunately it never came in the end. Where the fur in the tanning rack always changed. Goatskin, wolfskin, cowhide, ....wouldn't something like that be an idea for your mod?
Immersive Equipment Displays for 1.5.39 - 1.6.353- v-1-7-4 and OAR with Crafting animation installed, but play vanilla animations. On Sharpening Wheel weapon not displayed at all. МСМ active. What could be the problem?
I know this is late, but I want to put this here for anyone with the same issue. I had the issue of nothing showing up when crafting tables, grindstones, etc. The MCM was showing and everything. I disabled all other animation mods that were not required and I was getting the same issues. I returned and checked the MCM and noticed that the hotkey was "Enter". I unmapped it and reset it to "E" and that made it work correctly.
Hotkey was only added in the recent update, the it's set to Enter so you can also select items with it. Default detection is E (activate) and left mouse click. It also uses Dylbill Papyrus Functions to detect item selection, but it only works with the latest version. Maybe you're using and older version of the mod.
Excuse me . I met a strange problem .When I try to sharpen the weapons from calamity queller , the positon would be wrong. My character will hold the blade of the spear with right hand, and the pole also point to the wrong direction. Can you tell me how to solve this problem ? Probably because it uses a "unique" position in its weapon model, but you can try to create a config for it and add it to the file located at: SKSE\Plugins\StorageUtilData\CraftingAnimations\SharpeningList.json Something like this, with the path and name of the weapon: { "floatList": { "weapons\\iron\\waraxe.nif": [ 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1 ], "caenarvon\\shenhe\\calamityqueller.nif": [ 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 1 ] } }First three values correspond to the X, Y and Z positions, the next three values correspond to the yaw, pitch and roll rotations and the last value correspond to the scale.
You'll have to play around with the values and figure out a good placement. You can create a custom display in IED and attach it to the "Weapon" or "AnimObjectR" nodes in your character, then later paste the values in the file.
